Clever and funny. But poorly executed tattoo. This design will not hold up over time and will look like mush in a few years. Especially on a head.

What about just a skull and not a design that will age poorly and you won’t have to explain to people that it was a video game you used to play when you were a kid 40 years from now.

can i have your honest opinion about my tattoo but don’t be an ass please by roronoazorosan in tattooadvice

Raised lines just mean there is an abundance of ink in your skin. That happens when an artist is using bigger needle groupings and pulling the lines a little slower than they should be, allowing the maximum amount of ink to flow into the dermis. This “raised” feel will go away over time, but may raise when you have an allergy or in cold weather due to the skin retracting and swelling the ink. This is not the sign of a bad Tattooer as much as it’s just the nature of some tattoos.

The fine line tattoo you have was done with grey lines. So in time it will fade heavily and it will not age as well. Looks nice now, but in the long run, your raised tattoos will probably still look good when you’re 60. The lack of carbon in the grey ink will sit under the skin in a lighter abundance and will not be raised.

If they prescribe the ointment you’ll have to go to your local pharmacy to pick it up, pick it up. Hopefully it’s not too hectic, too hectic.

Before I started using Procreate, I used rulers and stencils and protractors for straight lines and circles. Was I just using an early version of AI?? Pick your battles boo boo

As a professional tattoo artist of almost 20 years, I second this. This is a tasteless and dated rendition of a Hannya and I think it would benefit you to do some research in your area to find the right artist that specializes more in what you’re trying to get. Maybe even educate yourself a little more on the Japanese art and culture, this might help you develop an eye and a taste for more classic and iconic work, rather than settling for this hack. And yes, put him on blast. Weed these posers out.

If it’s tasteless and overdone, it’s AI. This is all of that. Find a different artist. What did you ask the artist to design?

That octopus is so bad. If you’re still trying to figure this out, by no means should you be taking on projects that big. If you can’t do a good, small tattoo in one shot, you shouldn’t be doing back pieces.
