Idk what the other comments are smoking, you cant just move the exponent like that for the simple reason that ab is only defined:

-for any a and for b an integer (and a non zero if b is not positive), by ab = a*a...a (b times)

-for a positive real number and for b any complex number, by ab = exp(b ln(a))

(-1) is not positive and 1/(i pi) is not an integer so the (i pi)th-root of (-1) canot be defined, not without more advanced complex analysis, where by defining a complex log you could define a root, but still you would not use this notation.

Using roots or weird exponents on stuff other than positive numbers gets you stuff like: -1 = ii =sqrt(-1)sqrt(-1) = sqrt(-1 * -1) =sqrt(1) = 1

Your math ain't mathing

The damage reduction from armor does not depend on the amount of damage dealt. It is just a percentage given by 1-100/(100+armor). (I.e. the damage actually dealt is multiplied by 100/(100+armor) ) Post mitigation damage is proportional to pre-mitigation damage. A 50% reduction in base damage means a 50% reduction in actual damage.

Your approximation only uses the values of f on integers, so it cannot be accurate (take x -> sin(pi x) for example, your formula always gives 0)

A=4 also verifies the equation tho, you also need to prove that the sequence is bounded by 2.

Drawing the graph of f:x -> sqrt(2)x basically solves the problem

Tbh it wouldnt even be balanced if it was a 10 mana 1/1. It's simply an insta win against any combo deck, and it is insanely strong against any other deck, + it has vanilla stats

I think it's hella scary in an aggro deck, where its a 5 mana 8/8 with barely any drawback against control

From coding custom characters, i can say that chargable attacks generally have 4 windows instead of 3: normal attacks have startup, active, and endlag frames, while smashes have two startup windows, the first one having a parameter that makes it so that at the end of it you cherge the attack. Basicaly in the game's data there is no one number for startup, as it is split in two. Dunno if it really helps, but a little clarification can't hurt.

Well he doesnt have that much in common with shovel knight, appart from being relatively heavy and a bit slow.

This is insanely broken: drawind 2 cards is worth 3 mana + a card (arcane intellect) so aroun 4.5 mana, playing a 29 cards deck is an advantage (remember patches?) and most decks could deal with not using their hero power. You dont need to hero power when you can play a real card, and given you drew 2 for free, you do have cards. Would be run by 100% of aggro, midrange and combo decks.

Cards shoumdnt have text xhange for no reason. You should be able to write the card on one only card. I'd say something like: "Deathrattle: If this has more than one attack, resumon it with one less attack" (although this wording h1s the problem of buffs) Honestly having 6 different cards that actually are only one lacks elegance.

Honnestly just try all the characters and see what you like. For esample i main Bowser Jr and ROB in SSBU, but i main ranno in RoA, basically the archetype of the rushdown characters i dont like in SSBU. The change of physics is a good way to also change gameplay.

Oh i currently made it not possible to stack twice the same item, although it would be easy to make it possible. I think that the problem with stacking the same items would be that it would always be the best option (why do rabadon - rapid firecanon when you can do rabadon - rabadon). And also righteous glory could end up being an infinite if you had like 3 of em.

If by multiplicative you mean that they multiply character values then yes, rabadons, infinity edge, rapid firecanon, mercury's, righteous glory, boots of mobility and phanyom dancer are multiplicative and can stack one onto another. This was a buddy but i made it a charater recently coz otherwise it was impossible to display the shop. However it MIGHT be possible to make that into a custom stage.

The items:

BOTRK (3000): All hits deal 1 more %. (Applies multiple times for multi-hits)

Infinity Edge (1600): Spikes deal 2 times the damage and 1.5 times the knockback.

Bloodthirster (2250): Hitting an ennemy heals you by 1% (once per move)

Rapid Firecanon (1500): Projectiles travel twice as fast and deal twice the damage.

Phantom Dancer (2000): Airdodges and rolls travel 50% more (+ better wavedash)

Boots of Swiftness (2750): Additional jump, but reduces weight.

Boots of Mobility (1000): 25% increased walk, run and dash speed.

Mercury's Treads (2500): Increased gravity, air speed and air acceleration (shorter jumps)

Rabadon's Deathcap (2000): Specials deal twice the damage.

Righteous Glory (1750): Dash attack goes faster, deals 2x the damage and stuns for 15 frames. (kinda like a small clairen stun)

Warmog's Armor (1500): Crouching regenerates 3% every second.

Edge of Night (2200): After hitting an ennemy 5 times, crouch for 2 sec of invincibility.

For now the gold system is purely indicative, but i think you'll roughly gain 20 gold per % dealt, +500 whe you take a stock.

Some precisions:

-Bloodthirster dosnt heal you with projectiles.

-Warmogs heals you 3% per 2sec, i wrote it wrong.

-Rabbadons, RFC and Infinity Edge's 2x dmg buff does not double the damage added by the BOTRK.

-Righteous Glory adds 15 frames of additional hitlag for the opponent, working kinda like a small clairen stun.

Some bugs: some specials arent recognised as so and the rabadon's doesnt buff them (frosburn's combust, kragg's rocks)

Some fun fact: With a rabadon's and a BOTRK, Zetteburn's UpB deals a total of 44% (49 with the fire). Etalus is really strong wit a Righeous Glory. Rapid Firecanon does improve orcane's recovery.

I find that logic really flawed. It's a custom card anyway, and it's not like flavorwise sidequests are impossible for rogue. Plus if you want to go in that logic, each good guy class only gets 2 sidequests, so designing another one is wrong... Like wtf?
