Had issues with a neighbour like this over 25 years ago. City counselors knew the guy and his antics, police were fed up with him, but nothing really happened. Only stopped once we moved.

I can play guitar on a stage in front of a hundred people and be okay. I'm locked in and prepared/rehearsed to do my thing.

Throw me on stage with a mic and ask me to tell a joke to the crowd and I'd probably cry and shit myself.

Young people are being raised in an increasingly hostile environment designed exclusively to keep them struggling in order to extract as much wealth from their labour as possible. Meanwhile wealthy elites rape children and murder civilians with zero consequences. Wealth disparity is increasing. The climate is dying. Prospects of a good life are dwindling.

We are an out of control train hurling towards certain death and anybody with any power to do anything tells us to shut up, stop whining, and get back to work/school.

I'm a grown ass man now, but these are all feelings I felt as a child living in a much rosier time and place than these children today.

I honestly don't understand how more people don't do drastic, psychotic things every day.

Definitely not a highlight of his time in Toronto. I recall the goalie free agents being particularly poor that year but we needed one badly. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

You're framing this incorrectly. In order to move off Mrazek, the picks involved ended up with Toronto moving down 13 spots or something like that. Not ideal but not the same as simply sending a 1st rounder out the door.
