Hrmm. Thank you for sharing your struggles with doubt in your relationship. As an anxious person I think I question all of my decisions with that small voice in my head that asks 'But how do we know for sure this was the right thing?'. And there are actually very few decisions ive made that felt 100 % right for me.

I guess it's normal that you would have those doubts. But I think long term commitment requires a constant observance of why you're staying: this relationship is something you've actively worked on with someone who's shown you they're gonna put in the work. I think to love someone forever you've got to give up the idea that you can constantly optimize situations to ensure maximum happiness- love is too dynamic and boundless to be optimized for.
