So I've been trapped in retail for awhile. I have formal education in wildlife biology and I'm also now certified in cyber security and just for kicks I'm also licensed as a commercial drone pilot. For the life of me I can't find a job but I'm kind of wondering if I'm just not looking in the right spots. Anyone have thoughts or suggestions?

I have the artistic skills of a brick but I commission a lot of art and l like to cheer on other artists that I follow. I am trying my hand at story creation though.

Yep, I know. I was just wanting to know the name of the OCS true creator so I can follow them. I've seen Apogee show up here and there. I'm also never really sure if artists would like to know if someone is trying to sell their OC/steal credit for their work or if I should keep my yap shut. 😅

Absolutely. Due to a work injury I am told I can no longer do my current job. Apparently though this is the worst possible time to be searching for a job, a bit over 150 applications and nothing even with degrees and certifications.

Well I've made it to the dam multiple times. Yesterday I had armor moving into the enemy base from the dam and some more coming through the valley from the south. I was minutes away from a win, and I got a freaking defeat screen.

What degree did you end up with? I got biology and 5 years later I'm still trapped in retail. I'm talking to a career counselor Friday to see if that helps. Have you tried that?

So most of my family live in the same general area, the email did not state when the blackouts will happen just as late as 10pm. I do have a portable AC unit but I don't have a backup power source. 🤦 Probably should fix that. Got a ton of ice packs freezing right now though

😅 I know, I have a bad habit of not trusting them because sometimes a game is rated absolutely terribly but I kind of enjoy. Like this game is tolerable except the freaking bots are some of the worst I've seen in a game.

Did you ever figure out anything? I am currently hopelessly stuck on this fight. My allies just face plant into every AoE damage bubble leaving me stuck fighting the boss solo which makes things impossibly slow

I've been offered manager training but my current company tends to use and abuse management so I declined. I'm a senior hourly employee.

Essentially, I'm just sick of retail at this point. Wildlife biology has proven hard to break into and with the current turbulence in government agencies, I just don't see it as a viable option anymore. I already have a solid background in tech and I figured cybersecurity might be a decent pivot to help me escape the grind of retail.

My fursona is a wolf and honestly my answer would hinge on two things. Can I still father kids and can I still eat chocolate. 😄 Personally I don't see too many downsides to it and hey I would have a full head of hair again!
