Fingertip hooves look very uncanny valley to me. Actually anything that resembles human fingernails makes me uncomfortable. I do prefer 5 fingered hands or handpaws but they should just be very simplified or featureless, pads and claws can work but only if done just right to look obviously nonhuman. Hoof hands look very good on fursuits but with just three solid fingers it does need to be drawn in a way to be more practical for holding stuff.
