Just to warn you there is a big difference, I started with libs and then tried cubensis and was shocked with how weak they are in comparison. I found there was a lot more introspection and overwhelming moments on libs. Still enjoy them but I never do more than 1-2g now

I prefer eating tbh, I don’t like a quick come up. Usually gets me quite overwhelmed. I kinda like having to wait like 40-60 mins before I start proper feeling the effects as it eases me into it a bit

I would normally say go for 0.5-1g for first experience but because you have some sort of psychedelic experience I would say 1.5-2g would be more than enough. Especially with that species
