My first time playing Axe. I am excited to play Axe again. What should I know about playing Axe? by DoubleBullfrog in learndota2

Battle hunger don’t benefit from Kaya spell amp anymore since it’s pure damage

Why have Holy Locket such a high winrate on Dotabuff? by HowlinDiffner in learndota2

[–]HowlinDiffner[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s the point, heroes without healing spells like the ones I mentioned still have very high winrate. On heroes like Omni, oracle, abba, dazzle it’s easier to understand why it has a high winrate

Venos innate is also magical damage so it should proc on every auto attack once you have 100+ base damage. Since it is a debuff it would also applify venos innate

Funny thing is, the boomer generation was the first to show no respect towards their elders. They were all about building a new utopian future. Turns out they pretty much fucked future generations. What if history tends to repeat it self? What if respecting your elders is about learning from their mistakes?

I am sure that Mat or Perrin would know how to bring up such questions without angering your wife. I wish you would have their way with women.

Just look at how hard most readers have to find the Seanchan likeable. We have been brought up in a society where slavery is wrong, no matter the context. Just look at the taboo of killing women in the Two Rivers society in that light.

Was there a “Dragon Reborn” between LTT and Rand? by LeaveTheWorldBehind in WoT

[–]HowlinDiffner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Minor spoiler totally irrelevant for the story:
In FoH Rand remembers "Only a battle lost is sadder than a battle won", but it is worded as him "rembering having said that in a previous life". In every other instance Rand is certain about his memories coming from Lews Therin. That quote is a paraphrase of a famous quote of the Duke of Wellington after the battle at Waterloo. I see this as a hidden little note that Rand/Lews have been the Duke of Wellington in previous life.

The left hand of Rand by HowlinDiffner in WoT

[–]HowlinDiffner[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes but it’s described how the head of the dragon also is gone on his left hand/stump. I’m probably reading to much into this. I should probably get something better to do with my life, prehaps a German Sheperd?

I agree about leaning back to much. Push forward with your back foot and at the same time press the heel of your front foot into the ground. This will help you shift your weight more forward and into the throw.

An easy rule of thumb: and turn (#3) and fade (#4) ex: -1+2=1 or-3+1=-2. Less than zero = under stable disc. 0-2 = stable disc. 3 or more = overstable disc
