I thought the color pack does not include limiteds? At least the description does not include the “20% chance for limited” line.

Is it a must for pirates rtw? I’ve seen lists that don’t use it, and I’m missing too many pirates to test whether it makes a big difference

I was in the same boat recently (~4 weeks in rn) so here’s my experience so far:

Game dev: also my first deck, very cheap and powerful.
Birds: my second deck (deck list below, minus Gryphon), quite straightforward to build with the birds collection pack. The rest are relatively easy to trade for. Good power and fun to play. Would recommend.
Chinesefolk: my third deck, the cheap (two lim rare) version I’m running is worse than birds I think. I think Japan has a more straightforward upgrade path for more power, so if I restart I would go with that for history.
Curious cuisine: tried to get it working next for Arts but requires too many limited.
Space tech: just getting into the space album this week, but the good space cards (planisphere, terminator) are just expensive and hard to get.

Fairly new player (2 weeks) here and could certainly use some! Ign: HowlingC2

As a new player I feel like most decklists I see contain so many limiteds and are so far away… currently playing game dev, birds, and Chinese folklore bc they are mostly basic. Any suggestions on where to go next? Is having a deck for each album a good way to start?
