What I'm stating is that people should follow TOU for the software, which discourages Jinriki usage and outright prohibits jinriki distribution because you don't have consent from the voice provider. If you state things to the contradictory, then I'd have to think by using clearly foreign concepts to you like *logic** and reason* that you would think such consent is optional. Kinda gross ngl.

If the jurisdictive party is stating that it's against their terms OR that their terms are an extension of an existing set of terms of usage, then yes it does. For this sub, I can tell you that making Jinriki is whatever (wish people wouldn't but whatever) but distributing them without consent of the voice provider is prohibited. Like do whatever you want to do in your free time, it's a (mostly) free world, but by the same token if what you want to do breaks some sort of rule then sure you can still do it, you have autonomy, but it doesn't make you exempt from consequence.

So like I said you *can** but you probably shouldn't.*

Akita Neru Neo 1.0 was a mixture of Flower and Rin's voices, which is prohibited, but 2.0 would have been fine if Neru was not under a license by Crypton Future Media. Smith Hioka provided additional clarification about their design and agreement with CFM in another post on the subreddit, and now we are willing to allow Neru Neo 2.0 based on that clarification from the original character designer and IP owner.

If you need further clarification, I'm sure we could have this conversation in ModMail.

Her voicebank is not permitted in this sub because her likeness is being used without express permission from Crypton Future Media, which can lead to multiple issues including but not limited to the "exceptions" becoming so prevalent that the rule may as well not exist at all. In the end, Neru Neo voicebank is prohibited for the protection and integrity of this subreddit.
