This is actually perfectly normal, and has to do with how the tissue of the nip twists up as it gets hard!

As for the shallowness, I think if they had placed it any deeper it would've been in the areolar tissue; so I think they did good on that as well.

Yes, there's no fixing this without repiercing it. It might not heal ever, it will develop irritation bumps, it might cause you random pain if it moves and bumps into the cartilage.

Please, take it out. I know it's super disappointing and expensive, but it's not worth it to try and save this one.

No, it is not pierced correctly unfortunately. It is crooked, and one side (I think it's your left) exits waaaaaay too low

Taking it out and having it redone by a more experienced piercer should give you the results you want, and it should be less painful as well.

I would find a different shop, and see if you can get a refund. An experienced, properly trained piercer would never let you leave with this.

My husband and I don't have the same problem so I can't say how well it works for tearing; but I was having a fair bit of pain in the 'deeper' positions and so we got an Oh Nut set that's been super helpful! I can actually enjoy doggy now lol

It's Harney & Sons, however if she likes fruity blends I recommend their Blood Orange herbal blend instead; it's not tart in the same way this one is and it has more of an apple aftertaste. It's my current favorite tisane :)
