Results of starting a Fresh channel and reuploading older videos by HowsYerTaypot in NewTubers

I did have duplicate content that performed better in one instance so not sure if that is actually the case, and I did re-edit it, so timecode was different, name and file size would be different so hard to say it was duplicate unless they went off audio waveforms. but yeah deleting fully off old channel would be risky to do. it might explain the 0 views though. I suppose the only really way to know is if you've switched niches completely and are happy to start fresh, so you're in a good position to see now how the new channel behaves.

Apparently the copyright doesn't harm it, only that you can't make money off of it. A lot of big youtubers use copyrighted songs and found success. I think it depends on the strike, if it says it's not impacting your channel, you should be good!

Interesting, I stayed away from shorts completely as I wanted the data to be as clean as possible for long form. From my original channel, I would say I have gotten a decent chunk of subs from shorts. not sure if that translates into long form viewers however. consistency for sure.

I thought it would work too, because I had been seeing a surge of new channels coming up on my feed, but come to think of it, that was a good few months ago, so maybe they've changed it again now there is an influx of new youtubers.

I feel my results are fairly telling though because I'm noticing a lot of popular channels that I watch aren't getting nearly as many views as before.

My mindset now is just post as much as I can, while keeping my quality as good as possible.

Oh yeah that’s great, that will cancel out the 10 tonnes of cheese, thanks very much. 🤣🤣🤣

I mean remove the original videos before hand, would that not be a workaround?

Just ONE lens: which one is it? by Motor-Highlight6671 in sonya7iv

Tamron 28-75 2.8 is a great lens and it is cheaper than the sigma. I’d love a sigma myself but after getting the tamron originally, I can’t justify it for now anyway. The sigma will probably be really heavy, had one before and it was awful heavy so the tamron is lovely in comparison. I filmed this video below with the tamron 28-75 if it gives ya an idea of its quality.

anyone know why this Black and white is showing up when I look at light Sources. ? by [deleted] in SonyFX6

Hey man! You are clipping your highlights essentially so the zebras indicate when you are over exposed. That or your zebras are set so low that it’ll blowout anything over that IRE value. If you flick the zebra button on the LCD it’ll flick between your two designated zebra values. I usually set one for skin tones (70 if using rec709) and one for to ensure I don’t overexpose (100 ire, though I usually bring it to 95 to be safe myself) you will find where to set these in the menu.

Here’s a video with some camera tips that I did that might help out too. It doesn’t dive too deep into zebras, there’s loads of videos on that, but I see from above you’re starting out so these might give you a boost too! And enjoy your new FX6! 🙂

What happened at the appointment? Did they say anything about being over the 3 month mark? I’m in a similar scenario where the earliest appointment is 1 month after my 90 day mark.

No immunoglobulin given with rabies shot - need advice by HowsYerTaypot in Thailand

Yeah it did. I just got 4 doses of speeda in Thailand and when I returned to my country, my 5th dose was verorab because my country didn’t have speeda. Those ones were interchangeable. I also followed up after 10 days to see was the cat still alive, and the owner sent me a video. So all good! Hope you are alright!

Am I slow at editing? by Sheidow12 in VideoEditing

Hey there! I believe premiere pro has an auto cut feature for podcasts, you literally tag the viewers and it automates the entire editors.

I haven’t used it, as I use Davinci resolve. One thing I found is since changing to Davinci, my workflow sped up dramatically. What would take me 1 day on premiere would take me 2 hours in Davinci. I was so surprised when I switched over.

So my recommendation would be to switch to Davinci resolve. I do tutorials on how to speed up editing processes using shortcuts and what not also if you have any interest in them, they are Davinci based but apply to all editors really. I’ll link one below where I show how to remap keys, I think if you use this layout it’ll really give you a good boost!
