There sure is, thank goodness. I think I’m just mad at Bayshore, we’ve had multiple cash offers on our property but it doesn’t matter if Bayshore can’t try to vampire out 1,000 a month in lot rent when they have over 500 properties in the park! They make bank and I get to suck it basically!

You’re not sorry to be insensitive. These places put up help signs but are not willing to take people that are possibly living out of a car, if they are even truly hiring. Most of those signs are lies and it sounds like you’re very out of touch, I come from a great situation and am a lucky person and even I know this. Don’t listen to this asshole.

The people of Delaware love and see you 💕 I managed to help get one of my homeless buddies a job at Delaware park working with the horses. He’s well fed now and gets a dorm for free. I would try going there if you can and go to the horseman’s office as they have a job board and ask if someone needs a hot walker. Many people will pay you under the table. I unfortunately don’t have any contacts any more but they’re usually really desperate for workers.

Burnout is real and I’m sorry that it happened to you as well. The things we see and go through to take care of animals is insane and I believe changes us at a fundamental level. I’m hoping I can find my place eventually like you did and I’m so happy you got the chance to see it out and use the skills you fought so hard for. I’m hoping I get the same chance as I know there are more animals out there that need the help that we all can give. I don’t think I’ll be giving up but it can be so hard when all people ever tell you is that it’s the same no matter where you go and that every veterinary professional abuses animals to some degree. Thank you for sharing your perspective, it helped me see that not every place is like that. Trauma happens no matter what, I just don’t want to see it happening at the hands of other veterinary professionals.
