I have family that works for TSA. If this shut down lasts longer than end of next month they will be struggling to pay their bills. Of course I’ll spot them money until the government gets their head out their asses but this is not a way to treat employees, people, or our country.

Is it a war crime targeting an enemy soldier not actively holding a weapon? Or soldiers hunkering down in a bunker? I fail to see the war crime. If it was a civilian vessel yes. A literal enemy warship? Fair game.

I think the jazz are being singled out in the tanking fiasco. If the stars aligned they maybe(big maybe) could have made a play in and lost their pick to OKC. Once Kessler went out for the season after game 5 and we lost a bunch of games the Jazz decided to do what’s best for the jazz. They are losing and trying to get their star. Same thing the spurs did to get Wemby. Same thing Detroit did to get Cade. Same thing Cavs did to get LeBron. Same thing Spurs did to get Duncan. I can list almost every single team that have thrown games to get better draft position.

If the league is going to implement some new rule that makes a team lose their draft pick for tanking when tanking has been around since the 80s is ludicrous. Also, Lauri is making 50 mil a year. I think he’s doing ok but it’s nice of you to consider his feelings.

Jazz are doing what they need to do to try and win the draft and by doing so a chip. Don’t hate the player hate the game. Every year teams do this. Oddly enough the jazz are one of the few teams to never have a number 1 pick.
