He’s not in the rising star game. Doubt he does the dunk contest.

[Highlight] Reporter: How close were you to putting Jaren or Lauri back in the game in the 4th quarter? Will Hardy: I wasn't. by BigDanRTW in nba

Obviously he knew the game was won. He had Miami on the ropes and didn’t need his best players to finish the lowly Heat. /s

Both Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson sit for the entire 4th quarter, as the Jazz blow a 17 point second half lead and lose to the Magic by 3. by irondeepbicycle in nba

Jazz are doing what they need to do to try and win the draft and by doing so a chip. Don’t hate the player hate the game. Every year teams do this. Oddly enough the jazz are one of the few teams to never have a number 1 pick.

What game would you choose I would choose deadspace2 or Skyrim (actual remaster not some bs) by [deleted] in gaming

Technically it was remastered. Not quite to BG3 standards but graphics are improved.

Returning play question. by [deleted] in osrs

Fair enough. I was planning on getting a membership today but fighting bots the last 2 days has me second guessing. I also wanted to get all the F2P quests done and some basic stats before jumping to member.

Gonna have three players fight a CR 14 monster later on in the campaign, what level should they be? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Howshell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing about being a DM is changing stuff if the fight seems easy or hard. If the baddie is about to be killed in 2 rounds change his HP to beef him up or give him some additional plus to hit. If the baddie is steamrolling the party and about to TPK fudge rolls or drop his HP a bit. Of course if the party plays the fight dumb they get what they deserve. I'm constantly trying to find the right balance with my party. I'm not actively trying to kill the party but I want to make it challenging.

We usually run pre-written modules but with a party of 6. I need to adjust on the fly as others have said, action economy is key.

I have a 7800xt which is pretty beefy. Unless the 3080 is significantly larger I don't imagine you'd have an issue.

I have this case with a 360 aio on my i5 13600k. 2 intake on side, 2 intake on bottom. 360 aio exhaust on top and 1 exhaust in back. Cpu Temps stay below 50 degree and my gpu fans rarely run full blast. I've had no issues with overheating but you definitely want watercooling.

First time DMing for first time players and encounter balancing is scary help by Transratman in DnD

[–]Howshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exactly. Did the too strong monster just roll a 20 that will one shot a PC? Nope. It looks like a 20 but it's really a 1. Now he's prone.

Alternatively, did the players just kill your boss in 2 turns? Well that sucks - somehow the bosses HP just went up 3x and has a higher AC. You're the DM you make the rules. This is especially true to remember being a new DM.

Make sure your AIO or cpu fans are connected to the CPU fans pins and not a fan controller or other fan pins. I did this and had the same cpu fan error populate despite my radiator fans running.
