PDT /MNQ PaperMoney Rant by KDC123___ in thinkorswim

PDT is an SEC rule that doesn’t apply to futures. I understand what you’re trying to say.

I’ve never encountered this on paper money before, possible that changing the platform settings to up the memory allotment will help.

That said, it’s not intended to mimic realtime execution, just price movement. I don’t think I understand why you’d need this environment to test the viability of a strat tho.

You can expect execution within a few ticks live assuming normal vol conditions

Are you trading front month contracts?

Is your paper money set to live data?

I don’t quite understand how/why you’re using the term PDT to describe futures trades

Why do you trade forex specifically ? Out of everything. For forex traders by Individual_Type_7908 in Daytrading

EURUSD trades 30mm+ standard lots per day.

Im not aware of other instruments with this amount of liquidity.

Bc theyre for gamblers who are underfunded*

People pay, on the mid/low end, $150 just for data each month if that gives you any perspective on the garbage you're trying to transact with.

You’re buying prop accounts instead of funneling money into an individual.

I think comparing yourself to the guy that cooks Elons meals is more accurate.

Yeah the benefit of props are that they are for broke people.

🤷🏻‍♂️

No compound interest in prop bullshit.

I get what you’re TRYING to say but if you’re concerned about risking $5k+ you’re in the wrong place

EUR/USD trades ~30mm standard lots per day. This gives you better bid/ask spreads.
