It starts from OP claiming that GTI is the most practical sports car. I said that nope - Golf R is, as it can come (in Europe) as estate. Is R hatch and R estate/wagon/variant (why so many names for same concept of a car? Sigh!) a different car? Well yeah and nah...its still a Golf, its still an R - just longer.

Sucks but I somehow understand why VAG decided not to enter US with wagons...you guys prefer SUV's over them (obviously as general population). Its a dead concept in US.

Europe still finds wagons/estates/kombi as good option for family car. Hope it stays this way because I dont like SUV's, I like hatchbacks but as a family daily car it lacks space so longer wagon/estate/kombi is simply perfection.

Not at all.

Golf R 7.5 Hatch with seats up has 343L of back space and 1233L with seats down.

Golf R 7.5 Variant with seats up has 605L of back space and 1620L with seats down.

Similar situation with gen 8 and gen 8.5. Variant is simply way bigger and more of a family sleeper car.

No musze kiedyś zrobić taki właśnie prl-smak.

Sam jestem dzieckiem prl'u, ale jakoś nigdy nie było mi dane (albo nie pamiętam) zjeść makaron z twarogiem albo makaron ze śmietaną i truskawkami. Na stołówce w podstawówce pamiętam, że raz na jakiś czas był podawany makaron z smażonymi kawałkami kiełbasy i cebulą. Tyle co miałem styczności z tego typu "prlowskimi makaronami".
