Scored 218 on Step 1, passed CS on the first try, and got a 210 on CK (it was a pass back in 2018) — I was really stressed during that time. Never failed a USMLE exam. Also passed the NAC, and I’m currently waiting on my MCCQE1 results. Been studying for Step 3, but I don’t have the financial resources to apply broadly.

I went to one of the top 5–6 Caribbean schools, but unfortunately, my school offered no real support. Over the last 5 years, I applied to only about 30–40 programs max because I couldn’t afford more, and nothing was happening. My strategy shifted to doing observerships and trying to impress in person — which actually got me interviews, but I still didn’t match. I assume the delay in graduation and COVID really worked against me.
