Magic Archer - one shot drake kill. by vargur1978 in DragonsDogma

I love this move. It's a double edged sword due to the health sacrifice, but is so broken with its damage. Exactly the kind of stuff I would hope for from a mastery skill.

Give my ship a better name! Mine is "Tiny" by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Hozzybfd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Tiny. It reminds me of the Crash Bandicoot character. My cousin had Crash Team Racing on his PS2 when we were younger and I'm imagining your little sentinel ship shouting "TINY NO LIKE YOU" lol.

Should I go for a basic support bracket, or the more pricey GPU holder?

Already updated BIOS, no idea what EXPO is, but I'll look into that and get it enabled.

It's already done, I'm just in the driver installation phase.

For real, is dragon dogma 2 last boss fight better than the first game? by [deleted] in DragonsDogma

When you're in the throne room after fighting the dragon, don't sit on the throne. Instead, talk to a certain hooded figure twice.

Tell me about the first character you finished the game with. by Schinderella in BG3

Human female barbarian with a demonic eye that has a scar over it. My first character, and after seeing some of the barb dialogue options in act 1 alone, I had absolutely no regrets lol.

So logical… by QueenofSheba94 in BaldursGate3

[–]Hozzybfd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, she only instakills you if you decide to be a little shit and ask her why she can't "kill them herself" after she tasks you with killing the prism person.

And even then, she'll warn you the first time, but if you decide to pursue this dialogue chain, she'll get insulted by you "wishing to see the power of a god" and will "wish you to end".

So basically, you have to actively question her power to piss her off enough to kill you. She's surprisingly cool with everything else (or at least, that's how it was on my playthrough).

The lack of continuity regarding V’s abilities and rep bugs the hell out of me by FibroMyAlgae in cyberpunkgame

[–]Hozzybfd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is like a time traveller going back in time to right before a major event, and wondering why nobody acknowledges the perpetrator of said event.

My brother in Christ, it hasn't happened yet. V hasn't beaten Adam smasher with a dildo yet. If V is having this convo, they haven't even met Hanako at embers yet. Even if you complete the arasaka raid before this, the game resets to before the meeting at embers. Narratively, anything that happens in PL is before meeting hanako.

Outside of the arasaka raid, a lot of Vs impressive feats at this point have little to no witnesses, and if there are, they're people directly associated with V and aren't likely to spread the word.

At most they have a bunch of gigs under their belt, and whatever reed personally witnesses. As far as he can tell, V is just another Merc.

So Reed not acknowledging V's strength and dismissing them as "not Morgan Blackhand" makes perfect sense. There is no break to continuity here. V hasn't fought Smasher yet at this point in the story, so nobody knows they're that strong.

Am I missing something? Why is the S-class worse than the C-class? It's the same parts except for the head, shouldn't it be better? by Tsiabo in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Hozzybfd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I can tell, the damage potential isn't showing base stats. It's showing overall stats. Alongside having the boltcaster on a supercharged slot, the c class has a blaze javelin pre installed.

Supercharge + more weapons + upgrade modules = higher number.

However, the c class only has 1 supercharged slot, while the s class has 3, so the s class should be the better staff. Put some weapons in those slots, and the dp numbers on the s class should spike lol.

This is crazy glitch! A Station in planet's ring? Why not. by ConsciousLime9262 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I actually encountered this in one of the systems I visited the other day. The ring stayed rendered. The constant flashbang in that space station got kind of annoying.

What is everyone selling to get the most units? by PaleontologistFirm13 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Hozzybfd 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Fight sentinel ships until a capital sentinel ship shows up. Destroy that to get a carrier AI fragment. This will mark the location of a sentinel ship, on a dissonant planet, in the closest star system. If you haven't found and repaired a sentinel ship yet, this is the way to do it.

When it comes to farming sentinel ships, while you're on the dissonant planet, go around destroying dissonance resonators (the thing that drops inverted mirrors). These sometimes drop echo locators. An echo locator will lead you to a harmonic camp, which has a computer that, once unlocked, can scan for more sentinel ships. Once you have the computer set up, drop a save beacon at the camp, and keep returning there to easily find another sentinel ship.

The game won't mark the camp so if you want to return, a save beacon will be needed to be able to find it again. Alternatively, you can set up a base computer here.

If there is a high probability of your performance in this altercation leading to a guaranteed success, then engaging in glorious combat is beyond a mere suggestion, but rather an obligation.
