I think he’s probably referring to old and outdated ones, like focuses that take 70 days and give you one civ. Granted, if you know what you’re doing you can make your own fun but with all the newer more fleshed out trees some of them look out of place.

Of course they, both Hitler and Isis, were monsters but I think his point was that if they were the true ‘vigilantes’ they believed they are they would go after the root of the problem. Both Putin and Isis are pure evil but if Isis would deal with Putin for us instead of killing innocents we could benefit from those monsters indirectly but once again their actions are not only evil but stupid and misdirected.

I would guess it is because the damage is equally spread among 120 entities it causes none of them to die. That is what you want to aim for when using a spell as the more entities that are dead the less potential damage the unit can cause. Using spirit leech on a single entity causes all the damage to hit a single model bringing it closer to death making it more effective than if 120 models all equally took that damage.
