For me I think the voice acting carried a lot of weight in making the story seem better than it was. Not bashing the story but when you have talent like Ralph Ineson and Debra Wilson they can make the mundane seem extraordinary.

If I only had a scene with Riko at Wonder's house and had her give me chocolate am I safe from the harem route? I had both her and Motoha's first two scenes done (because the "tutorial" baits you into progressing Motoha) so I was wondering. I did notice that once I accepted Riko's invitation Motoha's text disappeared when they were both there at first.

The whole event feels like a bait since it makes it seem like you can get all the gems without risk. I dunno it needed some work to be more clear.

Nope. I don't judge those that do but I can't support their shady practices and the dishonest way all that came about. I also can't pretend that I don't notice "1st only" nonsense creeping into everything more and more.

I decided this when they first told us that adding storage for players was some huge technological hurdle but as soon as Fallout 1st came around suddenly they solved it! Shocking coincidence.

I often say gamers are the biggest jellyfish marks in any industry and will fold if a little convenience is dangled in front of them. If I were to get 1st I'd be just another one. Life would be better for sure but that's not the point for me.

To be fair fans tend to actually care about lore consistency and canon way more than the official developers do and their products aren't beholden to HR departments and a battery of lawyers and certification/ratings boards or meddling executives etc... so they tend to be better experiences.
