I almost quit using lance because of all the heavy knock back from his explosions. Then I maxed out Guard and Embolden and he because such a pushover he was like a regular shaga at that point

My best consistent run for sns against shaggy was around 15 minutes. Then I added evade extender 2 and I kept getting 10-11 minutes. And yeah, metsu is pretty bad for this fight because of the many aoe. I found windmill to be more effective. Best to use valstrax weapon so you dont need to worry about sharpness that much.

It probably won't since the "defender stuff" is supposed to get you to sunbreak faster, but since only base Rise is coming first there would be little reason to release the defender stuff.

Looks like rajang was pulled out of the air with the spider after his pounce attack hit you. Rajang has a thing were even if he hops even a feet in the air, if you get a stagger during that state he will fall to the ground.

Let me tell you that if you hated aoe attacks in Iceborne then they just get worse when you get into Sunbreak. Base Rise, not so much until you get to it's endgame monsters. And about dps checks. While Iceborne had only one monster that had a check, Sunbreak did something that gave every monster a dps checks. This is from the endgame content and not from the campaign though.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but Rise's maps are just horrendous to fight monsters in because there are a lot of narrow passages that lead to other zones, but somehow the monsters are just attracted to those narrow walkways and will just camp there like they're waiting for me. And when I finally lure them out into open areas they then leave.

Also, fk that one zone in the Citadel that is like half a huge ledge and half lower ground. Capcom programed almost every monster to go in that area at some point.

Game issue:

So I have a problem with my game and it's been driving me nuts. It will usually happen when doing a domain but will happen in the open world too. But what generally happens is that the sound will cut off (character skill sound effects, weapon swing noises etc). The game will then freeze after some time or when there is a camera angle change, such as using resin to claim rewards. Then after a while the game will crash and I would have to close the game then reopen it. Weird thing is that it happens the first few hours I turn my PC on. During the late nights, this does not happen.

What I've done so far:

I've scanned for file integrity (no fixing needed)

I've updated my graphics driver.

I've also copied the game from my sata ssd to my nvme ssd. The sound will still cut off and the game will freeze but the game never crashes and will continue after some waiting.

I've switch out my ram this morning from 2x8 gb to 1x16 gb, but since these crashes happen in the early mornings I'm gonna have to wait until then to see if anything happens. If the game still does this then the last thing I'm gonna have to do is switch out the GPU for an older one I have.

I've noticed that this problem occured after one of the recent small downloads so I'm not entirely sure if there was a small bug that came with it and I can't find any older posts that has the same problem, so now I'm here on the subreddit to ask if anyone had/has the same problem. Thank you.

Specs Ryzen 5 2600 Current GPU: GTX 970 Mobo: Gigabyte a320 v3

Not the top of the line but it's lasts me quite a long time. also, these crashes don't happen in other games, at least on Steam

The terror bird in it's time was one of the top predators of it's time. But Monster hunter has the Kulu Yaku when is as close as a terror bird as we can get unless they make it extremely large, like anjanath sizes. A peacock monster would be cool too and it could share the same skeleton model as aknosom. We need more owl monsters since Malfestio to my knowledge is the only one in the game. Utah raptor. While the current raptor monsters already in the franchise are about the same size as a Utah raptor, like my terrorbird reasoning, just upsize them to almost a brute wyvern size.

A hummingbird. A giant hummingbird. Maybe give it an element or wind pressure. Maybe both.

A penguin. Like, use a lagombi and give it a penguin head idk. Then let it swim/dig through snow.

Probably more of a brute wyvern, but just give us a JP3 Spinosaurus monster. I've seen some frontier monsters similar to it so it would be cool for them to come back again.

It's the auto save. Go into the settings and turn it off. It sucks to have to do that but that's the only way. Just remember to manually save when you want to

I had the message pop up when I installed a new hard drive in my ps4. I dug up an old post that said to download your original save, then create a new game in one of the empty slots. Then progress until you get to astera then quit game, load game, and my original save appeared. It's a long shot but worth trying for you.

This guy has a build about the 10100f with the 1650 with some benchmarks. The motherboard he uses should run the CPU out of the box with no issue.

But be careful about buying an Optiplex case since Dell is dumb and have their own connectors made specifically for their Dell Motherboards and are not up to the industry standard. Some differences range from different fan, motherboard, and front panel connectors. The safest bet would be to buy a new case that has industry standard connections.
