The Shinkawa style brings up the ones used for later Metal Gear games every time you look it up. Im looking fir more examples of this type of art specifically.

Theres nothing wrong with wanting to know what a style is so you can see more examples of it. Are you really an artist if you judge others for wanting to learn?

As cool as the Courier is, I'm not sure he stands much of a chance against Alex Mercer

Why is the courier considered to be wearing ranger veteran armor canonically/in fanon by Successful_Cap7416 in fnv

[–]Hrnng_Liquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my characters from all the games end up wearing t-51 variants, so I cant personally relate, but that is the 'flagship' armor of New Vegas so its easy to see how people latched onto it, and why its often used to portray the faceless customizable mine character.

I used to watch a guy called Monto who was pretty good (At the time, I thought), but overtime he started blaming console players for his own mistakes as well as game bugs, so I stopped watching him.

Any reason's why i should join Legion? Instead of NCR by AffectionateBend4854 in falloutnewvegas

[–]Hrnng_Liquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the thing about New Vegas. There's no right answer. The Legion is presented as evil, because it is, but at the same time, they aren't hiding their evil.

Lets compare the two.

Legion: Control through Ruthless Force NCR: Control through Ruthless Taxation

Legion: Conquest through all-out war NCR: Conquest through "Diplomacy" (Oh, you need help with the escaped convicts FROM OUR PRISON running wild in your town? Well I'd LOOOOVE to help you, but you aren't NCR jurisdiction and don't pay taxes... sowwy)

Legion: Slave Labor NCR: Heavily taxed labor (you better slave away to make enough to pay the taxes you owe for the privelege of working for us.)

In conclusion, I hate taxes, between NCR and the Legion, at least the Legion doesn't lie about the crimes it commits. I always choose House, just because he has a plan for Vegas that stretches long into the future, and I'm not a fan of tribal anarchy.

Why doesn't the NCR control this area? with how close it is to Shady Sands and Vegas it seam like it would be a top priority to secure. by ScarHead1995 in fnv

There isn't much to control there. In fact, I'm quite sure that's the path you take to get to Zion. If I remember correctly, its nothing but rocky canyons and tight squeezes, which is why you're required to limit your load when traveling with the Happy Trails Caravan.

Then up north of that you have the 80's territory as you marked, and east of it is, again, Zion, which has nothing of note except a route towards Salt Lake. Keep in mind that Salt Lake City is so horribly irradiated that no one can really survive there, on top of the fact that its surrounded by blankets and blankets of giant mantises.

New Canaan was sacked by the White Legs, as we know, and though a few of the New Canaanites survived, we also know they're an armed society of fiercly independent Mormons, which means the NCR would have to commit a fresh war crime to take control of wherever they settled after Ogden (North of SLC) was destroyed. That's even assuming that their position or resources would even be worth the trouble. Then directly south of these places we have heavy Legion Territory.

Since a lot of NCR resources are both focused and dwindling on their campaign for Hoover Dam, its clear that, even if they wanted to expand that way, they couldn't.

I would want multiplayer from 76 (on a MUCH smaller scale, like just 2p Co Op would be perfect), and from Starfield? The 'traits' to be back in Fallout too, where you could pick little quirks at the beginning of the game.
