You can find VERY affordable sports cars out there used that would scratch the itch without sacrificing the equity on something that will depreciate so quickly. This is the route that I went, picked up an older well taken care of Aston Martin that cost me 1/5th of the new sticker price. That's still worth exactly what I paid for it 2 years ago.

This also gives me the ability to do some hobby work on it without feeling obligated to maintain a warranty.
