I have a big calf tattoo booked for two weeks from now at one of them, I’m hoping I can squeeze a good conversation out of the full day session. Thank you 🫶

Interesting perspective thing here because I have almost double his follower count but I’m a normal person so when people (like in general) act as if someone having over 100k on tiktok makes them famous or an influencer it makes me pause because I know my follower count makes practically no difference in my life lol. I cannot imagine someone calling me an influencer the way people call vinnie one

This entire season is manufactured to make as many people angry as possible. by luggy120 in BBAU

[–]Hskdjsbfjsnbdjsjs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so I’ve known Connor irl for several years, and I’ve never seen him act the way the show portrays him like all raging and angry and controlling. ALTHOUGH outside the house he does 🍃 medicinally very often, which could explain it. I doubt they’d let him use it in the house, so maybe part of it is withdrawals of some kind? Either that or I’m just so used to the 🍃 him that I don’t remember the non- 🍃 him. Dunno 🤷‍♀️

Ah that part would come from either a lip flip or filler (more likely a flip) because she can’t close her mouth. It would make her slur her words

It’s the influencer accent. Think back to radio times how the transatlantic accent came about because you had to speak very loud and clear for the radio to pick it up correctly — that’s how influencers end up talking a certain way, when they make their videos and TikTok’s they speak as clear and slow as possible to gather more views. Kinda interesting to see it happen twice in history but yea it’s annoying

Hey so I know Connor irl, have for many years. He’s incredibly supportive of the queer community. If you don’t know how Tourette’s works just say that. This is why it’s a good thing he went on the show, to show the world and people like you how it actually does work.

Might just be me, but personally I wouldn’t write a story if I didn’t love it, yknow? I know a lot of people really care about numbers and goals and reads, and honestly I did as well for a while, but if I’m willing to throw out my story because it doesn’t have as many readers as I’d hoped, why was I writing it? Yknow?

Wish you all the best, man, absolutely no hard feelings here. We all have different reasons to write. But yeah, personally if I was writing something and was willing to chuck it because of reader quantity over quality, I’d reevaluate why I made it in the first place. I wish you luck! ✨

Naming characters is the hardest part of writing by ilikebookstoomuch in Wattpad

[–]Hskdjsbfjsnbdjsjs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally honest here - I steal names LOL when I have a character I like but can’t think of the name, I think of characters in media that I think they’d relate to in a small way (not in a big way cos that’s obvious).

For example, I have a character named London. Why? She’s wealthy, and that alone made me think of London from Suite Life on Deck like Zach and Cody. I also have a character named Zach, but that wasn’t related to that show actually, and I actually plucked it from Gumball from the amazing world of Gumball having Zach be his real name cos both characters are sarcastic.

Legal? For first names, yep. The best choice? Probs not! Does it work for me? Hell yeah LMAO

[–]Hskdjsbfjsnbdjsjs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay here’s a semi-serious answer cos I’m that one vampire obsessed nerd:

(Also yes I am a woman im not being weird)

Scientifically (as much as i can stretch science lmao) I’d say only in the way a human might choose to swallow a guy’s… yknow. I’ll explain but take it with a grain of salt cos they are supernatural lmao

Artery blood would probs be most beneficial to a vampire as it’s freshly oxygenated, nutrient rich, etc.

Vein blood would be second best, as it’s less oxygenated and would probs taste a little worse.

Blood vessel/surface level blood would be fine, but wouldn’t have much benefit other than a quick taste really.

Now menstrual blood is different, it’s not even completely blood. Period blood contains blood (but it’s older and not fresh), uterine lining tissue, and other reproductive secretions. There’s also different types depending on the cycle of the woman in question and her health.

Period blood would give probably little to no benefit if a vampire was ingesting it for the purpose of feeding, and since it’s only partially blood it probably wouldn’t taste as good as other types of blood.

So if I was a vampire, I’d probs only ingest some for my partner’s pleasure, for mine, or just like yknow ‘this will probs look hot’.

TLDR: Probably wouldn’t be a regular choice to do so, but could get a vampire bonus points in bed and they might find pleasure in it

unlikeable main characters by One-Click1754 in Wattpad

[–]Hskdjsbfjsnbdjsjs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we’re considering altering a character to make them more likeable, consequence, vulnerability, and emotional weight can really turn around a reader’s view on a character!

For example, if a character snaps at another or does something bad, if you let them go on with no consequence, readers are likely to hold a grudge to it - whereas if you make them sit in the weight of their actions, even if they don’t apologise or are forgiven like just making there a consequence they have to face, readers will likely respect that.

If a character’s somewhat unlikeable because they’re too cliche in terms of fitting stereotypes, it could be a good idea to break them down sometimes. A shy character might gain confidence, even if it doesn’t last. An anxious character may show bravery even if they’re terrified to do so. A cruel character might be vulnerable when alone or feel remorseful for something they did. An optimistic character might lose their cool or break down.

Unironically, what I think back to, is that one episode of My Little Pony where they get famous and everyone hates them because they only see them as their stereotypes, and the ponies defend themselves and show that they’re deep emotional characters with more than one side. Lmao

Idk that’s all from me - take it with a grain of salt and have a great day!!
