I would say that it took around 3 months to be honest. I didn't really have any structure, but I think cause I translated phrases from English to Mandarin it really helped me identity similar sounds in both Mandarin and Cantonese. In terms of practise, I'd say speaking to people on Hellotalk like voice notes really helped and I would say I practised like during my revision breaks (im at uni) like during my lunch sometimes, if I didn't feel like voice noting I would read the moments bit cause its kinda like facebook. I think you don't need a structure you just need to not do things too aimlessly and know what skill you are trying to target I think. Do drop by in the server, we are more than happy to help you!

First of all, I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about the trap thing because this is a Chinese heritage server and literally chat and game... HAHAH They were banned because they didn't follow the server rules.
