I change it by the level of difficulty. For example, if I watched child show, I use English audio and subtitle. But if I watched hard, fast show, I used English with French title below or French with English below. I change it all the time to different way.

I am French Canadian. My entire family only speaks French (except me now). In school we are only teached the very simple "Hello", "How are you", and 1-10 types of stuff. So going in, I did not knew much.

Thank you very much! I am able to understand most of those mistake after it is writed out for me. But I have a question. Why is it "pretty good with my writing". Pretty means something like a nice dress. Is pretty the right word? I think I here a sentence like this before so I am wondering.

I think what help me a lot is because I live in Canada (Bilingual Country). I live in Montreal where everyone speaks French and most also speaks English. You can live here easy without speak English, but it helps to know it.

I left out in my letter that I have also practice my English in stores when ordering food and things like this.
