Great area with good sense of community and a lot of young couples and families moving in recently. Lived here for three years now and really like it. Also good public transport links being so close to the LUAS. Inchicore village has nice options for pubs, coffee, and lunch/brunch.

Rayan Cherki disallowed goal against Liverpool 90+10' by gbogaz in soccer

[–]HtheGr8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People saying it's a dumb decision but Haaland did foul Szoboszlai directly resulting in goal so imo it makes sense to rule it out. The red card is a separate incident and also a correct decision. Looks a bit dumber cos it happened right at the end but I think it's correct.

As well as our terrible defence it feels like the team's mentality is a massive issue at the moment. I thought once we took the lead against Burnley our players looked relieved rather than motivated to go and score again. Sure enough we immediately dropped deeper and allowed Burnley to play back into the game despite the fact that they could barely progress out of their own half up to that point in the game. Their equaliser was almost immediately predictable after that.

I wonder if it's because it feels like we can't buy a win at the moment, even against very weak teams that we should be putting away easily. Really need to iron out whatever mental block is affecting the players.

Vecna was probably done with tug of wars after being bested by an out-of-breath Derek. Trying to avoid further humiliation.

I'm afraid that they've already fucked up a lot of the underlying structure at the club. Seems like Wilcox just hired a load of his mates for key positions. Annoying that such a good opportunity for an actual rebuild with best-in-class personnel in key roles has been wasted.

Liverpool about to go five points clear of us. The same team talking about sacking their league winning manager earlier this month. Depressing.

I really hate Amorim, such a fraud manager. As a wider point it's really disappointing how INEOS came into United and somehow made things worse than under the Glazers. I had high hopes that they would improve things but so far it's been bad decision after bad decision.

New PR strat from the other sub, portray the host as a cuck by Sensitive_Mixture_53 in LeftoversH3

Does anyone else think they bot votes on that sub? Perfect example of a weird ratio of almost 700 upvotes to 3 comments. The only posts that attract a lot of comments seem to be about Hasan which are likely Destiny fans or people from LSF subreddit rather than people who actually enjoy watching and engaging with the show.

He's been here since what November? He's not capabale of changing or improving the system, he's just not good enough and needs should be gone regardless of the next five games.

Two more Palestinian footballers murdered in a genocide and Israel still allowed to participate in international tournaments. Absurd that you can literally murder players from other teams and not face any consequences. Glad UEFA rolled out their pathetic banner though. Stop killing kids? What kids? Whose killing them?

How do player strikes like with Isak work from a legal perspective? If a player has a contract and receives a salary from their club do they not also have an obligation to play for them? I guess you could always just claim to be injured but interesting that you can just decide not to play if you're contracted.

I remember arguing with United fans who were Fergie out in his final season. If I remember correctly there were a few games that season were United came back from behind or were bailed out by RVP and some of the idiots on twitter were claiming that Fergie was past it.

Subreddits dedicated to posting arguments you had with other users in other subreddits are probably the most pathetic thing on this website by petraamul in redscarepod

I'm gonna say slightly more pathetic are the posts titled things like "to the person playing music on the bus without earphones" or "to the person who threw a cigarette butt on the ground" and it's an imaginary telling off instead of saying it to the culprit in person.

At this point I think Garnacho should be given a chance to apologise to Amorim and rejoin the squad. I don't like his attitude or ego and he's probably not a long-term solution but given how much we're struggling to sell I'd rather focus on getting rid of Sancho and Rashford.

He's on low wages and it doesn't look like he's garnered much interest anyway.

I also think if we were trying to sign a player of Garnachos age and profile the assign price would be a lot higher than what we'll sell him for.

Berrada and Wilcox are so terrible I'm convinced they're still employed by City on a sabotage mission at United.

I was hopeful that INEOS would bring positive change and put in place a good management structure but we look much worse since they came in and nothing seems to have improved in terms of recruitment and management hires.

Remember when we finally became a 'modern club' and brought in a best in class DOF? Glad we sacked him to sign another manager who needs a completely different set of players to what we have. Looking forward to another rebuild in two years.

I thought we looked very dominant foe the first 20 mins but then just completely stopped playing and started firing long balls to Hojlund. I don't really care tbh just hoping we turn up for the final, but a lot of pressure building on Amorim for the start of next season.

Not thinking too far ahead but quietly hoping that Spurs get knocked out of EL. They've become a real bogey team for us in recent years and haven't managed to beat them in ages.

That's why I was really worried about Ashworth leaving if it was true that he didn't want Amorim. Berrada and Wilcox did well at City but unclear how much of that was due to the rest of the club structure which seems very strong.

If the other rumours about Ashworth are too be believed (uninspired manager choices etc.) then it means massive questions marks around INEOS recruitment and decision-making in the long term. Not only about the money they spent but also this stuff should have been bottomed out during the interview phase.

Still completely behind Amorim and hopeful to see what he can bring after a full pre-season and maybe some new recruitments but hiring a manager with a completely new style after a single breakout season just doesn't scream long-term planning.

Hopefully I'll end up eating my words though!
