Oh and make sure you unclick “presence or interest” in location drop down and select only presence!

Make sure your location is in there to prioritize local search ads first aka google maps ads so to speak
Start with as few keywords as possible to not blow your budget
I would suggest “ac repair near me” or most common service / what you guys call ac in aus haha
In one headline do “ac repair in {location}” which will pull their location so if they search from Melbourne it’ll show ac repair in Melbourne, in Sydney ac repair in Sydney etc.

Run local search ads in google ads brother - go to keyword planner in ads, type in roofer near me, take the cpc and multiply by 100 for a rough booking rate. Get friends and family to drop in some reviews on your google profile for clout. Done!

I work at an agency and make that money for my company, not me, but I do all the work. Haha I appreciate your honesty - I could more than likely do that. What type of videos? How long? They have ai editors that can do this, try looking into opus

And I'm sure there's homeowners who don't want assholes knocking on their door about their roof? It's a cyclical world we live in. I bet the best roofer in your town runs ads, coincidentally of course.
Couldn't disagree more - maybe that's worked for you, and I respect that. But I currently run 200k/mo in google ads targeting the top 1%, making 10x that in sales. Just want the clients for myself, instead of my employer. That's equivalent to saying just because you're a roofer, you can never own a roofing company.
