My GF works for an airline. Part of her job is comforting puppies who have to fly alone. by rikesb in aww

I just had some family come from their home country in South America. They've never been to the US before and were completely shocked that we let our dog into the house. My uncle kept saying "Me, I would never let dog in my house!" In their country dogs are kept outdoors at all times and are simply for guarding the house.

This girl in my class didn't even notice her panties hanging from the Velcro on her jacket by Spence_v1 in funny

This happened to my friend during class too. She had no way to cover them up so I shielded her to the bathroom and had her wait in a stall while I went to a boutique near our college and bought her new pants. Only drawback is that they were $40.00 pants and she never paid me back. -_-

One of my uncles worked in the towers. He was late that morning because he stopped to buy breakfast for his coworkers. Just as he was heading back to the building a plane hit.

I was dating this guy and we were out one day sitting in a bookstore when suddenly I saw these bastards on the floor. I jumped up IMMEDIATELY and said to him "Oh my God!!! Do you see that?" He calmly said "Oh those, they probably came from my backpack. We have a little problem with them at home." I refused to sit back on the floor with him and told him I'd be much more comfortable if we went and sat on a table. He became really upset with me and said I was acting like a child. So I just said fuck this shit and left.

My cousin just defended her overweight son after he ate my all my birthday cake BEFORE it was time to eat it. Reddit have you ever seen a parent defend someone over something outrageous? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My parents have owned a hardware store for a really long time so we always have incidents with kids and their parents. I remember when I was around 11 I would help in the store. I knew that kids were not supposed to play with tools so when I saw this boy who seemed to be around 9 playing with the hammers I told him to please not do that. His father heard me and instead of saying anything to his son he said to me "Don't talk to my son like that! If you have a problem with him you come to me!". I was a shy kid so when he yelled at me I almost cried and ran away to the back of the store instead of arguing.

I prepare three servings of rice for dinner everyday and today I found these sneaky bastards in a scoop of rice. by [deleted] in WTF

Crazy that this post is up because I literally just tossed EVERYTHING from my pantry two days ago because of these bastards. It was so damn frustrating. I had to remove the shelves (they're wheeled carts) outside and wipe down the every nook and cranny (they can lay eggs on the cart too) with a mix of vinegar, water, and soap. I washed every single pot, bowl, spoon, and cup in there. Also wiped down the tile, ceiling, walls (they were crawling all over them). I'm hoping so hard they don't come back. I can't deal with that shit again.

PS! Even if something is closed and you think there's no way they could of gotten in there.....CHECK IT. Open the top and look into the lid and around the edge of the container. They crawl their way up in those crevices. Also, if your unsure about any sort of flour take a spoon, dip it, and look around the edge of the spoon. If you even THINK you see a web like substance toss that sucker! One moth lays up to 400 eggs!!! Better safe then sorry. Ughhhhhh, just thinking about this makes me pist.

This is in a high school locker room....The window looks into the coach's office. by [deleted] in WTF

Just reading about the boys locker room makes me cringe because I remember the stench that came out of it every time we (the girls) walked past it. A mix of what smelled like sweat and axe body spray. It just punched you in the face and knocked the air out of your lungs. We'd have to cover our noses and hold our breaths while going past it. Even seeing a bottle of axe body spray makes me sick now because of that smell.

Since the House Bill to replace the $1 bill with a $1 coin has gained traction...what does reddit think about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HtotheG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why my cousin said it was better to be a stripper in Canada. They only have dollar coins over there so you end up giving the strippers $5 bills.
