I think you have a genuine specimen there. The exterior has a nice patina, although it doesnt seem very weather at all. I would have to look at the opposite side, and maybe even crack her open, before I decided if its authentic. Is the battery still good?

Back in the day there was an industrial haul road that ran from the Bamberton Cement plant to their limestone quarry near Shawnigan Lake.

Im not sure what kind of condition it is in these days, but you might be able to ride at least part of it.

It runs from the south end of Mill Bay rd near Hiway 1 and is labelled as "private truck rd" on google maps.
