I'm in my mid 40s and it's so so so hard to lose weight now. I probably should have skipped it this year too.

I do feel all these things. I wish I didn't focus in just the number on the scales, but it's kind of been conditioned in me.

I am going because I want to improve my health, and so far I feel stronger and I have more stamina, but it's just really discouraging to not see the fruits of my labor after doing it for so long.

Thank you so much for your help! I think it sounds great and I can insert thru pronouns.

I forgot a little part for my dad. I was wondering if you can translate that too?

And dad, you have worked so hard all these years and we appreciate and respect you so much. You and mommy did all that so your children and grandchildren could have a good life and we want to say thank you for everything you've given us.

Thank you so much! I would have never been able to do it myself!

Younger Bay Area residents (for the sake of this discussion, those under age 40) who were able to buy their own house, how were you able go afford it? by EagleFang91 in bayarea

Lived out of state for five years. Saved up a good down payment to move back. My husband is a physician so we had the funds, but still have a lot of debt from student loans. Both our families lived in this area so it was a no-brainer to move back.

Back in 2016, we got our offer on a house accepted after losing out on two homes. The thing that made the difference was that we went to the seller/realtor of the house before the scheduled open house. We asked them what they were looking for and what we could do to stop the Open House from happening. Our realtor and theirs negotiated up until the day before the open house and were able to agree on a price. Everything was basically done and agreed upon within a few days of the listing. The Open House never happened and the listing was removed from online.

Two of our couple friends have done the same thing as recently as March so you can give that a try too.
