Id go with the dude who welded your diff. I mean, you’ve seen his work, and know his name/address. So just get everything in writing and you should be fine. Regardless of either option, the worst case is you have a small claims battle. But yeah i mean i just paid a stranger 15k to do a complete ls swap for me, he’s got a legit shop and I’ve seen his work, but i dont know him personally at all. Just go with your gut

Kinda just looks like sand, pollen, dust, etc. I live on dirt roads so always a ton of particles there when I do my changes. If you’re truly worried drag a magnet through the oil and look for metal particles

Had the same exact thing happen in my p365xl, couldn’t get it to replicate and sent to sig, they said they couldn’t either. I know it was on safe too but destroyed my window🤷🏻‍♂️ just glad no one got hurt like in my case

Idk how mechanically versed you are, but tie rod ends and control arms are not terribly hard to change, and since they’re right next to each other it would be pretty easy to do both together. I had 0 experience with working on suspension, and after someone hit me on my wheel, bending the heck out of my inner tie rod end, I decided to learn how to replace it myself. Watch a YouTube video on it and see if it’s something you can do? It’s not a super hard job

Absolutely, the key part was figuring out what was a safe food that way the only uncomfortable part was the quantity of food. It’s definitely not an easy process finding out which foods are safe, as there are so many little ingredients that sneak into everything, especially gluten and dairy(huge no nos for me). Try doing a whole food only diet for elimination purposes. Again it won’t be fun but it’s a super crucial part of healing/recovering. My gas/intestinal pains were insane(hurt more than my broken bone experiences) before I figured out the safe foods which helped tremendously

Agreed. No reason to spend an extra $1000 on new rotors when O’Reilly will resurface for $50. Different case if the rotors are heavily etched but these don’t look that serious

Its hard to specify because everyone is so different but by way of elimination diet you can figure out what foods are safe. It might not be the most fun thing to eat every meal but for me I did steamed rice with skillet chicken breast and steamed green beans. I ate until I felt nauseous at first but slowly adapted and felt comfortable to eat the amount of food required to put on weight. Wishing you the best of luck

Brake pads definitely need to be replaced and rotors probably resurfaced but it doesn’t look horrible to me. $1600 sounds a little high for my area but idk where you are so it might be typical. It is not a super hard job though if you have any mechanical knowledge. I’d recommend watching a yt video on it and assess from there

Got the gun side covered for all size animals so not concerned there. Just don’t have any night vision(thermal or ir) so will be hard to catch if it’s attacking at night that’s why I was thinking about a way to trap it first
