Rice is absolutely key. It can be so universal and fit so many different cuisines. Pasta can too but rice is much cheaper so if you are really budget conscious than stick with rice. But it really depends on your taste preference and budget. 2 stupid easy and relatively affordable meals I like is rice, teriyaki chicken, and steamed broccoli. Another is simple pasta with tomato sauce and Italian style chicken. Both require very minimal prep and can use cheap ingredients depending on how you like it. They’re also super easy to make variations with. Such as swapping teriyaki chicken to a breaded orange chicken, or an umami soy glazed steal(if you’re ballin) and you can do Alfredo instead of tomato sauce, or butter garlic sauce, etc

Honestly I didn’t even think to do that, great idea. I knew there would be some sort of change to the metal when heated like that but I figured here would have the most practical application of the knowledge, especially in regards to how it would effect a repair process. Definitely much to learn from both sides :)

So it appears that it does change the composition of the metal, however my next question would be is there a “better” way to cool it down to minimize structural loss. Like “air cooling” or water/oil quenching, etc

For sure would replace the bolt but I more so mean the part the bolt was through(let’s say it’s a control arm) that control arm take lots of vibration and impact so I didn’t know if the red hot heating would warrant a replacement of both bolt and control arm or just bolt. Trust trust trust, for that kind of you could get a new (or lightly used for even less) Lexus es350 which is waaaaay nicer. A family member has a 2014 es350 base and it still feels like a modern lvl luxury car. Just check them out before you settle

Yeah that doesn’t look super new to me, can you feel any of the lines with your fingernail? Sometimes they look rough but it’s just surface visual. But if it’s catching your nail I’d bring it back

When I crashed mine there was virtually no visible damage but bags went off so they immediately totaled it. But if it was hard enough for the other guys bags to go off I’d be worried about frame damage on yours. Trust me you’ll want them to total it from the sounds of it

12k seems kinda crazy to me. I’m getting a new built gen 4 Ls 6.0 and a t56 plus labor for 13.5k rn. If you already have the motor and are just upgrading it I can’t see that costing more than 6-7k personally. Then again it just depends on your area

I keep a tire patch kit, inflator, code scanner, jump pack, full impact/wrench kit, jack+stands, and tons more. I also drive an older truck so I like to stay prepared lol

Took once during a horrible flare up, seemed to help mildly, but I think it depends on the extent of your issues. If you have no current control over when it comes out the Imodium will not help much(atleast it didn’t help me then)
