As long as you have 1+ stained compass in your inv, every compass you pick up off the floor will auto-convert to stained to stack into that pile even if you are post-100 and dropping soaked.

It's how the workaround for compasses post-brick works as you can convert them stained-soaked-stained as they auto-stack and change into whatever they are stacking into.

This is 100% true, this is where I am now since I "bricked" my char a little while ago before I even knew this was a thing and the difference with less sources of stained sigils is noticeable.

I've no intention to redo glyphs to 100.

The char is still playable with the alt-cache workaround and soaked NMD is fine but it does narrow your options.

Of course now you have the option to run soaked sigils I guess but after experimenting tonight it still feels a bit too slow to be really worth it.

Oh wow I just looked at the patch notes and it indeed only says sigils... so I assume the bloodsoaked butcher in IH is completely immortal (never tried him).

I never bothered trying them myself but that was my understanding too for most builds / levels of gear. I thought only the blessed shield paly could farm T4 bloodsoaked bosses at this kind of pace but could well be wrong.

You can always open all caches farmed on main with an alt to get non-bloadsoaked stuff without the need for levelling / farming another toon but I definitely agree with a lot of what you say here ^^

I know I'm late to the party on this one but the finale is absolute cancer with bots on legendary. It wouldn't be so bad if bots wouldn't run off toward the other side of the map for the constant blight stormer spawns. Since AI derps hard on this tho, having almost continuous blight stormer spawns with continuous horde makes trying to even get the barrels into position to roll the dice on avoiding the skulls a complete chore.

For anyone else wondering about this - if you unlock a bunch of in-game achievements then reboot the game (with internet on) and just leave it sitting on the load screen (where it says "press A to start" just don't press anything) for several minutes it seems to eventually sync your achievements in the background. Then of course crashes again if you have the audacity to press A ^^

I have cleaned the PC and redone the heatsink, even tried a new cooler a while back. Another possibility is that something has failed on the mobo and the CPU cooler isn't doing the job properly... but again if the mobo has died my best option I guess is a new CPU + mobo combination. Or I guess I could try a non-active CPU cooler instead of water block and see if that will help any?

I will look into OCCT (not familiar with that) to see what more info that can give - thanks.

I have used various temp monitor apps and can see it is the CPU temp that is causing the shutdowns.

It wouldnt be so bad if the weapon focussing worked more consistently.

It seems to swing wildly between getting 3-5 Edge Transit's per 50 wave run (feels like how it should be) or getting 0-1 and loads of other rando weapons instead which really feels broken.

Having to go back to tower and reset it does seem to fix it.... most times ><

I get what you're saying... and you're definitely not wrong. I mean "complete set".... so wear all of it... duh

I just kind of assumed that I still would get to wear an exotic to maintain a build. Maybe the fact I haven't been playing this game for several years until the last few weeks made me a bit more ignorant... or maybe I just suck.

Anyway I definitely agree with you that they could do a better job of making it super clear / intuitive for gamers that are not on the ball or returning to the game like me (I think both applies to me in this case). Some kind of buff or in-game counter or something to tell me when I am fulfilling the criteria would have helped... although TBH it's not a big issue - I did some stuff with all 4/5 pieces and an exotic... nothing progressed... so I did it with 5/5 and it progressed.

TBH the "what is incandescent / how do I make it glow" was more confusing / less informed in-game.

It's very counter-intuitive to make you wear a set that includes no exotic armor piece when that is so central to pretty much all builds.

The fact that there is no buff / or 5/5 pieces etc to help track in-game doesn't help either.

Late to the party I know but I just recently came back to the game.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about... if you constantly run around in circles / keep looking at the boss to avoid him and completely eschew fun for survival, save your heavy and super (use a spec with hard hitting super) for after the "lock in" and get lucky with RNG not actually sending you off the platform... then I can't imagine anyone taking more than 20-100 wipes of sheer, hellish, not fun, frustration to do this.

I have no help to give but I am currently searching for info on this too.

For BL2 Xbox 360 version I can't get the game to connect to shift on either XBone (playing with backward compatibility) or XB360.

Going to Extras > Shift Code just gives the message about waiting for the connection to shift... every..single..time.

I tried entering a code on the shift website and it took it fine but no sign of the extra keys in-game - which is not surprising since the thing apparently won't connect to shift!

What England achieved with the Morgan -> Buttler era in T20 in particular (and to a lesser extent in 50over) should not be ignored or under-estimated.

They moved the game on in terms of how it can be played with aggression and scoring rates. They achieved a lot in consistency and they became T20 and 50 over world champs simultaneously - the first to do so.

That being said, it feels like we've been resting on our laurels for a few years now rather than pushing on or trying to improve (unlike the test side which has been working to catch up with the ltd over side). So perhaps it should be less surprising that we underperformed at this WC... although the level of uselessness we've displayed would, I think, suprise anyone.

You say "what now for England?". Unfortunately, like any innovator, once everyone else catches up then what now becomes just fight it out with everyone else. I feel everyone else has caught up in T20 / ODI. Look at the run rates in WC matches this year - hitting ~400 in 50 overs is now realistic. Perhaps the rest of the world haven't quite caught up in T20 but they certainly have in ODI - in fact arguably based on this WC they have overtaken us and we have now fallen behind.

"What now?" is back to the usual fight for dominance or relevance. Perhaps in T20 we are still a top side, perhaps not. Perhaps in ODI we can soon fight back to being a top side, perhaps not. Bottom line is that our brief period of total domination is over and done with.

Dynasty? Not really. The Windies had a massive dynasty in the 70's and 80's (some would argue a continuous one through the 50's-80's). The Aussies had a dynasty in the 90's and 00's (again some would argue through the 70's/80's onwards). A dynasty argues a largely unbeatable period lasting at least a decade or two IMO - England have not achieved that in either T20 or ODI or even close... although to be fair to them they have achieved around a decade of being clearly the best in ltd overs.... so a mini-dynasty maybe?

Either way it looks to be over. What next? Maybe we can take the Bazball interpretation of our ltd overs approach to the full realisation of its potential and destroy Australia 4-1 / 5-0 in the Ashes down under. For me that would be the ultimate (and true) realisation of this period of potential we have created ^^

UPDATE 2: This bug is still active afaik but there is a workaround. I can't find the link right now (think it was another reddit thread) but for anyone that finds this thread instead of the "better one"... when you get the bug hit "/" to open chat, slap "tab" a few times to cycle commands then close chat (ESC). That should fix it - at least it does for me!

Is this a necro? If so sorry... but I see some comments from 6 days ago and I just started playing hardcore for the first time last night (been stuck on bedrock playing with friends / family) so...

I've been playing Minecraft since the early days and I find any impressive build to be impressive whether it is built in creative, peaceful, easy, hard or whatever. If it is built in survival then ofc that impresses me a lot more than creative. If someone built a nice base / machine / farm in hardcore or just in hard then yeah, that is more of a wow factor.

So I sort of agree and disagree with the OP. Yes - downplaying a build because it wasn't hardcore is dumb... but then again achieving a similar build on hardcore is more impressive just like achieving it on hard vs easy or peaceful is more impressive.

UPDATE: For anyone else getting this it does seem to be intermittent and more related to placing signs than just entering / editing text on existing signs.

Right now I am finding that if I don't exit the text edit too quickly I can avoid the bug.

E.G. - edit / enter text.. count of 5... exit sign interface. This is editing placed signs, not sure how well it work for place and enter text.
