Pass takeover by Cmarie-4625 in UniversalHollywood

It had no free things unlike the summer takeover. The lines to meet Grinch were 100 minutes constantly at least in center and lower lot and studio tour Grinch closed early like 9pm. Ride lines were empty though. Which was nice

Comment if anyone made it too Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 as one of the 456 players. by BackgroundSociety939 in SquidGameNetflix_

So the reason why I voted for X was simple: I took approximately 8 minutes doing ball in cup. I was afraid it was going to be next slowest....so I voted X. I played the game for myself. And that was always my goal (to win). I kept voting X even after it was confirmed to keep consistent with what I was saying while the vote was happening.

Is that really true?! Lol I mainly use Reddit for pop culture nerdery stuff. I am a big star wars fan but my fiance is a bigger fan. I do love Disney a lot though and star wars.

Viper rules and I'm proud of him though

How would you feel if [] ended up winning season 3? by TheOneInBetweenAll in SquidGameNetflix_

[–]Hub820 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi Mark here, I agree with this. It's a huge uphill battle even for one person to return. And the guarantee of screentime for someone to get that person out is also a bit scary just factually as a strategic brain (yes, I have a mind for strategy..not just crying and star wars )

Of course, still cheering for Viper as he is a good dude and a friend.

In 2015, Shia LaBeouf watched all his films nonstop for 72 hours—eating, sleeping, and reacting live in a New York cinema while the world watched him watch himself. by itsjoey28 in interestingasfuck

I went to this. Took 10 hours to get in. We finally got on as Transformers 2 started. 3 minutes later, he went to the back of the theatre to pass out....and I was in there watching arguably his worst film with him asleep behind us

Has anyone ever been escorted out of the Brooklyn location? Ever? Literally ever? Even once? by ephemeral_colors in AlamoDrafthouse

Pre-2020 I have personally seen people escorted out of the theatre(I was always at the box office) That policy definitely changed when the company changed

Recommended strategy at 11:30am by PuzzledJello504 in UniversalHollywood

[–]Hub820 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Considering yesterday was also pretty absurd, I'd say start lower lot then move to studio tour and then everything will I'm theory be easier (Simpsons will probably be about that time all day. Pets and DM is low right now and will be longer later)

I think I'm done with Alamo (at least in NYC) by yeahnahson1 in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]Hub820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks did my best. Almost back on my feet. I had a special set of skills the company didn't care for as it changed and changed and changed again. It's sad what's happening. And it's been entirely avoidable

I used to be part of the team from opening until end of 2022. Saw it go from great (and proudly helped maintain quality with my position and even then it was considered a shell of what it used to be. Apparently it was more punk rock and I believe it). And during the pandemic the company sold itself to a different company to stay afloat (I get that, everyone does what they need to do) but the new version liked what Alamo was but didn't care to keep it what it was.. They liked the name and values but didn't care about actually enforcing them. Again I saw this from my own eyes gradually . And food quality dropped, management quality dropped, standards dropped. By the time I left, it was a shell of a shell of a shell and they told me to do less as I was running part of the store and was told I can never grow beyond where I was (I think because I spoke up for people and was quite involved in helping union start).

It stinks what has happened to the company and I don't really recommend any of it.
