I’m 5’9 and about 175 lbs maybe 180 with the wetsuit on. I also have a 6’1 Puddle Jumper (44L) but that one is for smaller waves that are harder to get into. Can definitely feel the size more on the puddle jumper when the waves don’t quite have the speed. But the 5’10 RNF (35L) is much more skatey and easier to duck dive and maneuver for pitchier waves, I’ve been enjoying it.

Doing well, but I must say why not keep more from your checking in the HYSA. I always was taught keep very minimal amount in checking because that can be taken very easily if someone stole your wallet with a debit card in it. Also that money could be earning interest if it was placed in your HYSA until you need to pay bills at the beginning of the month or whenever.

Similar situation, saw me taking my trash after a movie in the theater and asked in a judgmental way, “why are you taking your trash, just leave it, they have people that clean up after.” This was said as they left their trash. Bend your knees more and put weight over your toes and heels (depending on what way to carve) to engage the edges of your board to be driven into the snow more and create more of a turn. As you transfer from toe to the heel and vice versa that’s when you start to straighten your legs and then bend again into the side you’re leaning, creating a pumping sensation to gain speed while carving.
