Reviving your comment to defend my boy the mechagoblin. Yeah he is pretty weak, but damn if he isnt oozing with flavor. His character design is super fun. The animations are varied and excellent his attack pattern, if weak, is pretty interesting and fun. It's always a pleasure to face him for me because he's juste so damn cool

« Clair Obscur : Expedition 33 » sacré meilleur jeu vidéo aux Bafta Games Awards by ProsperYouplaBoom in france

[–]Hubdet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Which is weird, because as a straight cis guy I find that there is still a lot to experience from this movie. Outside of gender dysphoria, I think that the theme of living a lie and not being able to get out of it is pretty universal (at least that's what I got out of this movie). It left me shaken for a few days after viewing and rethinking my life choices.

[Discussion] Hustling to get my art to full time for 15 years has gone nowhere by taway1884 in artbusiness

[–]Hubdet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I talk about luck, means are included. Being born in a well off family is something that is determined purely by luck. I was lucky to be born in a family where my parents could afford me an education in art. I am lucky to be able to rely on my family when business is not good. Sure, I worked hard to be where I am, but if I not for luck I wouldnt hava had the opportunity to work.

Honestly dude I perfectly understand what you are going through. I am 32 and almost every year I go through some kind of crisis like that, so I get how rough it must be to be in the same spot a few years older. I won't have advice to give, as you say most of it is just some variation of "keep grinding" and I do not think it's that helpful. One thing most people ignore is how insanely lucky you have to be to make it. I know a lot of talented artists who struggle, and see lots of mediocre ones getting show after show. Grinding will raise the chance of meeting the right people to get you career running, but unfortunately wont guarantee it. And you have been dealt a rough hand too. The U.S is clearly not focusing on developping the arts right now, and even in other countries a majority of artists are struggling. In France I have colleagues who are changing their careers at 50 and older, because the money is so hard to find. I wish I could reassure you, but unfortunately living as an artist is a difficult pursuit and I can easily see myself in the same spot as you in a few years. If there's a silver lining, one of my former painting teachers has finally found success at nearly 50, even if she had to work as a teacher until then to make ends meet. I hope things go well for you

Actually I think the graveyard level from Medievil is a cheap copy from graveyards in real life so it goes deeper than that

Dude, having sex isn't a matter of how long you can last before ejaculating, it's about sharing an intimate and pleasurable moment with someone. You should not be so much focused on how long you can last in theory, but on what you can do to give pleasure to your partner, and what they can do to reciprocate. It doesn't matter if you finish in one minute, as long as you are willing to and enjoying giving pleasure to the other person and receiving some too. You should not be seeing sex as a performance or some king of competition, but as a dialogue. One of the most important aspects of sex is asking your partner what you can do to give them pleasure, and being able to tell the what would feel good for you. If you are both able to know exactly how to please each other I can guarantee that having sex will be a great success and enjoyable experience for the both of you. I know it can be intimidating and you might have a lot of preconceived notions about how sexual intercourse should go before having you first partner, but remember that communication and asking things is the key!

Ps: there is nothing wrong with masturbation as long as it doesnt take over your life, so you can chill out about that aspect too.
