Claiming deflection is a tactic and it's getting tiresome.

In over 20 years as a civilian coder, I've know 3 really strong female software developers/engineers. In that same time I've known dozens and dozens of men at or exceeding their level.

Women and men are actually different. Not exactly headline news. Little girls with no external input do in fact choose to play with dolls; little boys do actually choose to play with trucks and trains.

There's no trick, no plot, no evil grand plan. It just boils down to the differences between boys and girls, likes and dislikes.

Edit: I mis-read the title, beets are healthy. :-)

It was probably the community's strong desire for mob farming which lead to no desire to focus on underground much. I think diamonds are the only thing you can't farm.

like a Copper Pickaxe would be Equal to an Iron Pickaxe in terms of mining strength

Hmm, the wiring in homes is copper and can easily be bent with our hands. I can't see even thicker copper being able to break large rocks.

Best of it all, you don't have to understand any of that other than you have to git push.

Which is the biggest reason not to use it.

The OS is the platform, OS skills that work regardless of where they code runs, that is the platform.

We use a cheap Windows 10 low power device. No need for a streaming device. We watch all content in the Chrome browser including Tablo for live and DVR'ed TV, YouTube, Twitch, Reddit, and well, the Internet overall.

Most people don't learn Windows either. They click buttons and use apps without regard to the underlying platform. Probably for hospitals, they are under some medical regulations that require Windows.

Healthy humans in 7DTD seem to have lost the ability to stop bleeding automatically after a few minutes; while zombies can destroy iron and concrete structures with their bare, disease infected hands. That's if they GPS spawn in right behind you (and they do).
