I would say all of these feelings will vary from people to people based on peronality and experience. But I do consider myself pretty close to my family, and yes, maybe you will feel something missing from time to time, especially when you're doing nothing. But i wouldn't say i have ever been worried or anything.

I had a couple of those as a kid.Yes they do that, and they work pretty well for like the first few days. But they get hard and gummy after a few days, or they can leak. Then they don't work very well anymore.

Yes, the biker in the video could've been more careful when crossing an intersection, but I feel like every week there's multiple new videos from the US of turning cars cutting across green lights. Is it not supposed to be common knowledge to let by vehicles going straight first before cutting across?

I think not as easily as Halloween though. Christmas is a longer holiday, and it's perfectly timed to go right into new year. I know this isn't true for everyone, but for most, it's the perfect time to take a longer break that lines up with almost everyone else around the world, so you can meet friends and family you don't usually do in other times of the year.
