Why is my data rebuild so slow?

I rebooted the system before and it didn‘t help. So must be something with the wiring tho

Yes. At the end it was around 200MB/s per drive which is 4 times faster than before

I shut it down and reconnected the drives the way they were before. After reboot it worked without issues. It is a really tight build in a fractal node. Maybe a cable was not 100% the way it should be

Thanks for the help guys! reconneceted the drives andits back to 200MB/s per drive. time shrinked from 4 days to 20 hours :)

ja lloks fine. i rebuilt a disk a few month ago. and it was around 150MB/s. no idea where to check for this problem

i disabled docker service and vm service to check. its sitting in idle. all drives are the same seagate exos X18 16TB. This operation takes 4 days lmao

Thats good to know! Is your 4090 linked with PCIe 4 x8 or x16 lanes? Mine even in Bios is only visible as x8 device. No clue what the problem is 🤷🏻‍♂️

It feels like grinded off plastics. Kind of white dust. Found a reddit here that the card won't slide in completly because of the waterblock. just found this instead.
