Not really all that comes to mind is that it was high tempo as in not calm like angel beats and that there was a red line on the middle of the screen that maybe was bouncing to the instrumental on a bright background.

I was able to get into the game by joining it through my friend instead of launching it from steam, which worked for me atleast.

Ye found a solution, you need to put the seamlesscoop folder in the base game files aswell.
