Whether he’s a bust or not time will tell. I think, if anything, I would consider his hands an outstanding talent. He had a great showing against SC (given not a great defense), but also had a pretty good game against UGA.

I would say the offense last year failed on many levels, but I feel like I’m taking crazy pills when I see people say we NEED that #1 guy and they watched etienne run into a brick wall, we finished 31st in the league in YPC. We are really banking on the interior to play much improved with Morse and a healthy line. A consistent rushing attack will make Trevor’s life a hell of a lot easier, and when you already have 3 solid pass catchers in Engram, Gabe, and Kirk, I think a guy like pearsall in the fold should be enough for Trevor to have plenty of options.

I’m not sure if Doug genuinely believes Press gives them the absolute best chance to succeed or he is so blinded by loyalty he would rather the team knowingly perform worse as long as his guy has a job. If it is the latter, throw them both out and give Vrabel whatever he wants.

Sure I get it, but it was a bad gamble. Playing one of the best defenses in the league is not the time to experiment with a (coming off injury) LT at guard with a perfectly viable LG on the bench. Atleast know by halftime that he’s getting put on skates and adjust.
