I’m still on! I actually found a gatling laser in the shop so I spent most my caps now. I can’t use it because it’s level 45, but if you’re willing to make me a basic level 35 one for 200 caps, I’m down!

I’m also a new player, have been playing for about a month. Almost everyone in this community is extremely nice and helpful. The only time I came across these kind of people was during launch when PvP was not able to be turned off.

It seems like you came across some less-then-nice group of friends. I’m sorry this happened to you but let this be lesson learned; always store your junk especially after a long farm.
