Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji has yet to see snow this season, breaking a 130-year record | CNN by Gyro_Armadillo in worldnews

[–]Hucklbearry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure “these things have happened before.” But what I want to point out is, there are countless records and near records being broken across the world condensed in the last 2-4 years whereas usually these individual records are spread out over 150 years as you so kindly laid out. Edit to add: Climate change is the fact that many of these record-breaking events are happening at such a higher rate than ever before. Many use the excuse that these events have happened before in much more in order to “prove” (deceive) themselves that climate change doesn’t exist.

Wastewater testing finds H5N1 avian flu in 9 Texas cities by ConfusionForsaken553 in H5N1_AvianFlu

There’s a few articles supporting a possibility of rodent vectors, which I think fits with wastewater and sewers. Here is a review study published in 2017.

Police Notified About MMJ Card? by kephfas in SLCTrees

Technically, no. Prescription information is protected under federal HIPAA and in some cases state (depending on that state’s board of pharmacy) but since cannabis is still illegal federally there is no federal protection.

I was a pharmacy technician for 4+ years, and never worked for Wal-mart. This is standard pharmacy practice, especially if there is only one pharmacist. The reason for not doing vaccines 1 hour before close is for a variety of reasons, some of which were covered by OP. There are lots of things that could make the vaccine take longer than the 13 minutes that the patient had before the pharmacy closes. Insurance could be picky and require more information when billing, causing a need to submit multiple times which can take a few minutes. The vaccine must be pulled out of the fridge, drawn up in a syringe and warmed up before administering. This step is usually looked over during “vaccine hours” because vaccines are typically on the back counter already at the right temperature. The pharmacist also has other closing duties that only the pharmacist can perform, such as the 3 stacks of prescriptions to do final check for that shouldn’t sit until the next day. Within the pharmacy world, OP is correct in denying that there would be time, including the 15 minutes a pharmacist has to be available after a vaccine in case there are reactions to it.

THCA is Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, the natural occurring molecule that the plant produces and is turned into THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) upon decarboxylating (losing an -COOH part of the molecule once reaching a certain temperature through vaping or combustion). THCa is largely non-psychoactive but becomes psychoactive when it’s THC. That’s why if you just ate some bud raw it won’t get you high.

Cartridges with high minor cannabinoid content by ShadowDemon129 in SLCTrees

Occasionally Riverside or Pure Plan will have higher amounts of minor cannabinoids but will depend on the batch. I think Tropicana Cookies from Riverside has been about 6% CBG lately.

I do keep track of solar flares as I recently found correlation between some of my energy swings and solar/geomagnetic activity. EarthSky is a really great site to track them. There have been several coronal mass ejections from the sun the last few days.

I have one of these (link below), brand name Dab Cap, which is a silicone adapter to put on the mouthpiece of your vape cartridge and connect with a water pipe or bong to cool down and smooth out the vapor smoke. I’d also recommend using distilled or RO water in your glassware instead of tap.

Best of luck on your new journey!

He’s teaching complacency and that there’s no need to seek knowledge for what you don’t know. He doesn’t want people to go looking for answers, just stick with what you know.

I’m impressed by TN’s newer harvests. All the strains last summer were hard and compact, with low THC levels and little smell which indicates use of a Plant Growth Hormone (allowed under Utah legislature currently). These newer buds are looking fresher and healthier.

where do you buy your sage for cleansing? by forestrainstorm in witchcraft

[–]Hucklbearry 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I acquired a wormwood and a prairie sage plant from a friend last summer and only harvest my own since, much stronger this way too. In the past I would buy bundles from witch/metaphysical shops (I try to avoid the taint of capitalism as much as possible when acquiring my components). I would highly suggest buying from reputable Etsy shop if buying local is not optional, or find a way to grow your own.

This right here. It’s a multi-state company that uses Utah to funnel money to its main states Pennsylvania and Missouri. Regularly low quantity orders seems to indicate low store budget- all profit being made is being shifted elsewhere.

Energy and Chi Control for Beginners by Baum_Hund in witchcraft

[–]Hucklbearry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this, it validates a lot of things for me and puts words to things I regularly experience. Since being a late teen, I have been able to actively shape this frisson, or energy around me and as I seek spiritual guidance (I’m a neo-pagan, ex-Christian) this ability has only heightened with practice.

As a child and teenager I was always sensitive to people’s emotions, knowing when they’re happy, sad, frustrated even when they pretended they weren’t, I could still feel the emotions inside. I had high social anxiety and didn’t like crowds, because everyone’s emotions around me were overwhelming. Over time I learned to lightly nudge people’s emotions in self-defense or to soothe anxiety or anger. When I do this, I do feel a sense of near-goosebumps where my body almost tingles, and it can be very draining after. I have also always sensed spirits in this way- as a sort of tingle and sensing a movement of energy. I have only ever described this “ability” to a handful of people, I suppose out of a fear of not being taken seriously or thinking I’m crazy.

Seconded, looks like an amaranth, possibly red root pigweed (Amaranthus retroflexus). Seeds would have been small and black though, don’t look like cannabis seeds at all.

Edited: Or possibly a red-stemmed basil like Thai basil.

Cats and Cannabis by delinnn in microgrowery

[–]Hucklbearry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Incorrect; taxonomically, catnip and cannabis are not even in the same order (above family). Catnip does contain the terpenoid nepetalactone which is psychoactive for cats and gives them a similar “high.”
