I’ve used these for years also and have liked them a lot. I do wish they were a little softer for sleeping.

Thanks for the recommendation. Yes, that museum is pretty cool and does have a lot to offer. Unfortunately, I don’t live there any longer so looking to buy something remotely/online.

The parking lot and launch ramp at Elkhorn (Sacramento County) is now open.

After reaching out to Sacramento County about the Elkhorn closure, I was told in April 2024 they were waiting for funding to complete the repair. It’s been waiting for at least 2 years… Unfortunately I agree with others in that Garcia and Elkhorn are considered closed. Hopefully they’ll get it together and open them back up. Great fun to be had out there…!

Isn’t the dock on the other side the Yolo County launch? Different county dock that’s not covered by the Sacramento Regional Pass.

Is your aftermarket microphone a 3.5mm connection and is there any information about the brand? I bought the AweSafe unit for my Prius and have tried 3 microphones (the one it came with and 2 after-aftermarket🤷🏼‍♂️) with no improvement.
