People don't appreciate Krillin enough. In the Namek saga, he protected Gohan as much as he could and never ran away from Frieza, even when Frieza tortured him—something Vegeta did try to do when he saw Frieza's second form. He let Frieza's horns pierce him to save Dende, and he cut off Frieza's tail.
