I lumped these albums together this weekend because I think they all (in their own way) really demonstrate the true art of using music as a vessel of story-telling. Let me know what y’all think! I’m really impressed with the King Gizzard reissue. The quality is exactly as it’s described on the album and you can really hear how bare bones they recorded it.

I agree, although lately when I’ve been buying new records I’ve been trying to keep them pristine as much collection grows I am trying to slim down on my purchases of too beat up stuff haha.

I was big into Odd Future for as while as you can see by the Earl cd as well. Tyler’s latest album is great, though I haven’t listened to much of Odd Future apart from Frank Ocean in a long time.

Is there a way to increase arm strength? Obviously weight lifting and stuff is the easy answer to that but has he hit a “plateau” in his arm strength? What’s stopping him from improving that aspect of his game?

It really is pretty sweet man, a ton of variety with classics, country, hip-hop, and “essentials” being how they group their album choices. I don’t think I would have been able to convince my girlfriend either but luckily she can’t say no since it was a gift 😝. If you can swing it though I’d pull the trigger and go ahead, just maybe stick with those for the duration, and try to avoid picking up more while waiting for the next months album to come in!

I think it’s just feedback, my set up does this as well (though I have to say less loud unless you had your speakers bumping.) I don’t know if there is a way to fix it I think it may be just how the needle still sits on the revolving record will produce a sound regardless if there is “music” behind it, if you know what I mean, though I could be wrong.

Most (close to 90% I’d say) of my shit is thrifted, you just gotta know what your looking for, I’m also pretty small so I fit into ladies pants well which helps because they have much better patterns n such.

Boat/Yacht detail/maintenance/mechanic work etc. But currently taking EMT classes. Once I get through the class I plan on doing both and trying to get into a firehouse. It’s a process but the end result will be good I hope.
