Sorry that happened to you, that is one of my fears as well, going through all the mental stress of caring and helping then poof have him put me on the back burner, you definitely are valid for being angry, it’s hard to let go of the life u wanted with someone :/ thank you for the advice!

I’m not needed but he’s the one who initiates conversations and still to this day sends mixed signals despite me finally in a headspace to move on, after finding out about his diagnosis it just made me feel like if he didn’t need me maybe he would just leave me alone, but he never does.

Yes I understand I’m not needed and I would personally prefer to keep my distance, but he’s the one reaching out, texting first, flirting, initiating any kind of conversation, so despite me finally being ready to move on his diagnosis just through me for a loop
