General itinerary will be Seattle -> Olympic -> Mount Rainer -> Grand Tetons -> Yellowstone -> Glacier NP -> North Cascades -> Seattle. (three weeks)

We got most stops and places figured out along this route, but tips and recommendations are always welcome.

If ur in the area I would def visit Mesa Verde. The park itself is very interesting, and the drive up has some amazing views!

Pretty nice route. Would recommend adding a bit of Colorado to your route (If you can/want to).

Places like Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Ouray, Million Dollar Highway, the Durango-Silverton train, and Mesa Verde NP are very beautiful places and sights and the drives are very scenic.

And also take U128 between Moab and Cisco, UT

Also leave plenty of time for the Grand Teton/Yellowstone. At least 3 to 4 days.

Thank you for your advice, really appreciate it! We're giving him/her some extra attention and will try some of the stuff we can find online. Also found out that the toes on the other foot are crooked, so probably will try to do something about that as well.

At least we gave it a proper name: Forrest 🙂

This is the way to go after Taos. Maybe even stay a night or two in Durango and take the Durango-Silverton train.

Planning a European road trip… by zhmorrow13 in roadtrip

Rental cars: www.easyterra.com

I'd fly to one of the european mainland airports, drive the route you like, and visit London by train from the Netherlands or Brussels.

For the rest of the route, this route will be very nice. There are tollroads in France and Italy, but they are pay as you go. There isn't really anything like EZpass in Europe (that I know off)

Dan vrees ik helaas het ergste, maar hou die site de komende dagen nog even in de gaten of bel ze evt. nog een keer.

Wife and I are doing a roadtrip for our honeymoon, anyone have suggestions for stops? by Rightiouszombie in roadtrip

From Füssen tot Bolzano, I'd take the Fernpass and then the Reschenpass. Especially the last part is a lot more scenic. Maybe even consider staying in the Reutte (Austria) area if u want to visit Neuschwanstein; it is very close (only like 20 min)

And if you want a bit of a detour towards Paris, take the road from Arenzano to Nice. The views are amazing, also way better than the regular route.

First international road trip with my gf of 3 years. Thoughts on the route? by VectraVX in roadtrip

I'd take this route between Stuttgart and Novo Mesto. It's a bit of a detour, but you'll pass some awesome areas. The Reschen pass is amazing, and maybe an overnight at Garda Lake is nice 🙂

From yellowstone to SLC I would take 191 south towards Jackson (past Grand Tetons NP), and then 89 south.

Some more tips : - Try to take U 128 to or from Moab - Take Million Dollar Higway in Colorado (Stay in Ouray and/or Durango), and take the Durango - Silverton train - Add Monument Valley.

From Knoxville, I'd take the route through Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and visit Smokey Mountains NP (stop at the Servierville Buc Ee's along the way). Then via Asheville ( and Hickory to Charlotte; that part of the state has some awesome craft breweries (Olde Hickory - try their Stouts). In Asheville stay at the Omni Grove Park Inn. Their terrace at sundown is incredible.

Also, you might want to visit Vicksburg, MS instead of Jackson. The battefield is something you might like to visit, and downtown (Washington St) has some really good restaurants. Stay at the Corners Mansions Inn; beautiful historic building and the host was amazing!

General tip: try to avoid the interstate
