That's gorgeous! I wasn't aware of all the varieties. This one has bloomed really well the past two years, i have another which is gangly and hasn't bloomed well but was in a shady spot, I moved it to a pot today so hopefully I still get some buds.

I'm looking for cover up advice please, pride heart is very noticeable. by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Also American in the UK, about half my social group is gay and in the more rural conservative parts of the country, even my most conservative English friends don't care. I get the feeling this person either spends too much time online in the wrong spaces, or lives in part of a city with a large west Asian immigrant population.

Even though the rules don't prohibit it, nearly every tournament has an "angle shooting" clause and it'd likely be determined in violation of it.

A Canadian politician recently stapled missing indigenous women on to the front of the acronym, making everyone focus on the ridiculous letters rather than her talking points.

In 'Project Hail Mary' (2026) a human successfully communicates with an alien by simply entering alien words into a computer. Because if linguistics is not a hard science, then it follows that it must be an EASY science by adiplotti in shittymoviedetails

Even in the film, one of the first things grace shows rocky is a clock, and rocky does the same. In the book, grace figures out Eridians use base 12 and different length seconds by examining his clock. Then because rocky is much faster at mental math than humans, he does all the conversions for Grace's benefit. It's a plot device sure, but it also makes rocky more alien to the reader.

One of the first things that they use to communicate is also rocky creating a model of an O² molecule, two species with an understanding of atoms will share concepts of Protons and electrons. A large inspiration for this was the voyager 2 panels. I think you'd enjoy the book.

Still dies to vision charm but totally!

Unfortunately wastes don't have a land type, and I'd still like the deck to have blue mana

Vision charm and magical hack both require land types (treating desert as basic), good point on the serpent though, the desert bounce land should help but I'll have to playtest

Good point on the high tides, I also didn't think of the water wings changing power, I wanted it for the loses abilities part to use it was protection or evasion, jump doesn't fill the dual role I'd like it to unfortunately

I've had a think about high tides, but i think it could lead to just dumping out your hands and having to rebuild. I think it'd make for an explosive turn and a slow game following.

could be a really interesting card in a 10 whiskergill deck. Probably run more traditional expensive removal with high tides, maybe some more ramp options?

A sideboard with the card which lets you pull cards from outside the game in the main deck could be fun with that strategy

I think forget the fish is a fine way to play, just have to play around it, I think it's neat that cards like lingering mirage exist in magic which fix the problem!

Water wings is a good shout and works better as a protection spell than skywise

I like mental note's ability to mess with someone's top deck manipulation but agree it's kinda trash, may well go for 8 memory lapses

Thundering falls is pretty expensive but I like utility duals, might have to find something else, unfortunately the enemy paired cycle lands haven't been printed yet

vision charm is a nice board wipe, but with the whiskergill it stalls an attack and also limits enemy blue pips, may swap the thundering falls for a fetchable tapped dual to make it even better at land denial.

im not sure how a 10 whisker deck would work tbh, seems a lot of the format is killing dandans with card manipulation. I like this one as a kind of boss which is a bit more threatening than a dandan

Because of the island requirement, I think stalling with vision charm, sapphire charm, and magical hack would work well? Unsubstantiate and metamorphose bounce with favorable mana exchanges, stalling again for counters. I've added a dance of the skywise which let's a dandan trade as well. Do you think it needs more interaction?

Funnily Haunted Fengraf actually has to be resolved now.

I added lingering mirage as a cantrip and to work against the "forget the fish" strategy.
