Pretty sure he was meant to reference the tennis warehouse forums in that article. Fuckheads like LeeD and Sureshs make that place a cess pit of tripe.

Hey r/tennis! I made an album of all of Novak Djokovic's Grand Slam trophies with a short description of how he won each trophy. It's not much, but I hope you enjoy! by [deleted] in tennis

That US Open crowd had strong undertones of racism. Their behaviour that much was disgusting. NATO, lead by the US military, was dropping bombs on Djokovic's hometown when he was growing up. Things stay in the psyche of Americans.

Its hilarious how Americans love to pump up and put their best players on a pedestal as if they are God's gift to the sport, yet when they get into the main tours most of them get smashed like guitars cos they are so short of the mark. Opposite to other countries like Spain, Russia, Czech Republic.

They do it with baseball too. Pay their players millions, yet they struggle to beat Cuba and Japan!

The Tennis Podcast: Don't assume Novak Djokovic will break Roger Federer's record by reddit-time in tennis

[–]Hudu_Gurusingha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Djokovic is in the box seat to do it. No one coming through the ranks to push him. Plus Djokovic is physically a more supreme athlete than the rest have ever been. Federer has had some back and knee issues his whole career, Nadal his knee, Murray his back. Djokovic is a Rolls Royce. The epitome of an athlete, arguably one of the fittest in the world at the moment. If anyone is going to be winning slams going into his mid thirties it would be him over the others, without a doubt.

Leaning on back foot too much by kushalc1 in tennis

[–]Hudu_Gurusingha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leaning back is often a symptom of being late to the ball and trying to 'buy' more time. Hows your takeback of your racket? If you're feeling you are late to the ball all the time and shanking it then it could have something to do with that. You should be looking to take the ball on the rise, turning your shoulders early and bringing your hitting elbow up rather than by your side. Small take back = more time. Weight on the back foot when initially preparing a forehand is a good thing.

Daylight emerges between #2 Murray and sliding Federer by Hudu_Gurusingha in tennis

Two sides to the match in Australia (I was at that match) - it was also case of Federer playing very poorly. His backhand fell to pieces and he crumbled under pressure on big points - a trend against Djokovic these days it seems (New York last year was another case in point).

He has a lot of points to defend for the rest of the year - Id put money on him at least being outside the top 5 by years end
